In Matthew 7:26 I wouldn't say it was a stern warning from Jesus, but that of Jesus explaining how foolish it would be to not hear and keep His sayings. Same in Galatians 3:1-3.

He said they'd be destroyed. That seems pretty stern to me. It's similar to this one; "Every tree that doesn't bear fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire". Matthew 7:19

Or this one; "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me". Luke 19:27. I realize this is from a parable but the lesson is the same: these people did not want to submit themselves to Jesus' teachings (i.e. they did not want him to reign over them).

The bottom line behind all these examples is that ignoring Jesus' teachings will result in destruction.

Hi JDB. The rapid fire issues you've presented seem a little aggressive. How about we slow it down a bit and you can choose one of those issues for me to deal with. Does that sound fair?
No.
You have said that we shouldn't work because we get paid.
But as a slave owned by Jesus that is my job and task assignment.
But you claim I'm sinning by doing so.

So you have a very heavy burden of proof to overcome.
God we believe;
Scripture we believe;
You? not at all when you contradict scripture.

Now that you used the full context I agree they will be destroyed. In part many would have not seen that. See how important it is to use the full teachings of Christ and not just in part as it leads to misunderstanding of what another is only teaching in part and I'm glad you saw that by adding Matthew 7:19.

Three important truths for Spiritual clarity:
1. Seek God - 1 Chronicles 16:11
2. Surrender all to God - Galatians 2:20
3. Believe that He is who He says He is - John 6:28-35
I will add a fourth
4. Walk in obedience to His word - 2 Corinthians 10:5

How we replicate Christ is to be like Christ in all we do and say that brings glory and honor to the Lord. We are either cursed for what we do and say, or we are blessed for what we do and say. Each of us are to pick up our cross and forsake all, which means putting Christ first in all we do and say giving no thought of what others can and will do against us, Matthew 16:24-28; John 15:18-21.

Our life is centered in Christ, our marriage is centered in Christ and our children are centered in Christ. Even our jobs are centered in Christ who provides for all of us. Some are called to foreign mission fields and other are called to the mission filed in their own backyard. God knows those who are equipped and those who are His own.

amen - those 4 points are awesome

i did like the 3 points in the op video - it's just the youtuber started telling us he was right and others he disagreed with were wrong and unbiblical - something that happens a lot among christians

it's almost like he was using the bible to slam others he disagreed with

if we take scripture and use love for God and love for others in interpretation and application of scripture we get much better results in our daily lives and our societal influence

i don't have a problem with the youtuber using scripture to sell HIS property and go into full-time ministry

i have a problem with him telling us we should all do as he did - and those who say God leads them to have a job/family/etc are unbiblical
