I was reading about the 5th dimension, Carmeli’s physics and Harnett’s physics and thought I'd share it here.
"Carmeli/Harnett’s physics gave space the properties of an elastic fabric that expands with a velocity proportional to the distance from Earth, independent of matter. The stretch of the “vacuum” of space has been measured and it solves the “missing matter” problem for rotating objects. For example: there is no need for a gravitational factor that is 4 times greater than the masses that illuminate our own galaxy to exist in order to maintain the integrity of our galaxy. Dark matter is not needed."

"The required mathematical parameters required a 5th dimension. This dimension is velocity; a motion attributable, not to matter expanding to create space, but space expanding to create matter. The first three dimensions are derived from the 3 dimensions of space; depth, height and width. The forth dimension is time. The fifth dimension becomes velocity and with this recognition the new physics agrees with many other astrological findings; that space is not empty but a fabric independent of matter."

"When applied to super-structures, like a rotating galaxy, the movement of space as it expands can account for the velocity of the peripheral matter in the spiral arms or outer regions (interstellar or intergalactic regions) of space, including ionized gases. This stretching of space accounts for the apparent inordinate velocities of matter as it rotates around the inner core of a galaxy. In effect, the material that is distant from the core of a galaxy matches the motion of the inner core of the galaxy much like the edge of a vinyl record album matches the speed of the center of the album. It is as though matter is embedded in the fabric of space."

In summary:
"Time dilation allows for light to reach the Earth in our 24 hour period making the moon, sun and stars visible while the stretch of space expands for billions of years. Our earth based clock ticks at one speed while the expanding universe ticks a trillion times faster. The cosmic background radiation may be a remnant of this event that would have unfolded in that brief earth day"

In effect what they are saying is the Earth is at the center, and what takes 24 hours there takes billions of years at the outermost part. The universe is like a vinyl record, the velocity at the outermost part is much faster than the innermost part. Assuming the Earth is the center.

Here are some quotes from Hubble (atheist):

"There must be no favoured location in the universe, no centre, no boundary; all must see the universe alike. And, in order to ensure this situation, the cosmologist, postulates spatial isotropy and spatial homogeneity, which is his way of stating that the universe must be pretty much alike everywhere and in all directions."

"Such a condition would imply that we occupy a unique position in the universe, analogous, in a sense, to the ancient conception of a central earth. The hypothesis cannot be disproved but it is unwelcome and would be accepted only as a last resort in order to save the phenomena. Therefore, we disregard this possibility and consider the alternative, namely, a distribution which thins out with distance."

"But the unwelcome supposition of a favoured location must be avoided at all costs."

"Such a favoured position, of course, is intolerable"

"Therefore, in order to restore homogeneity, and to escape the horror of a unique position, the departures from uniformity, which are introduced by the recession factors, must be compensated by the second term representing effects of spatial curvature"

Hubble's proposition of spatial isotropy and spatial homogeneity is in direct contrast with the observed distribution of matter in the universe. If we look at that image again, what we see is uniform expansion is all directions. The Earth is at the center of the universe or close to it. The 5th dimension of velocity explains how stars can be so far away, yet, the time involved for their light to reach us could have been just a matter of a few days when the universe was created.

“He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in” Isaiah 40:22

I remember seeing a twilight zone where an airplane traveled through time. They were in a pocket of air traveling very fast while their true air speed remained relatively slow. From the ground it would appear as if the plane was going 15,000+ MPH, but in the plane they were going much slower than the speed of sound since it was the pocket of air surrounding the plane that was moving faster. It's only a TV show, but the principle of space itself having velocity has merit. The 5th dimension seems to explain how galaxies could have been formed very close, but the since the space around the galaxy has velocity it could have moved great distances in a relatively short time. The red shift image is like a vinyl record, it shows how traveling a certain distance is done in only a few hours at the center, while at the outermost part traveling that same distance took millions of years. I always thought the universe had to be billions of years old since the stars were so far away, this article really made me rethink that. It will be interesting to see if the 5th dimension gains acceptance.
