Yes
no,the sign said service at 6pm.

now it says 10 am.of course doing the shabat these days is interesting because of the legality with it. for instance if i a drive to the shabat service and need gas i have caused a gentile to sin(if you want to do that way). which the shabat is for the hebrews only and the hebrews of today and then did have gentiles work for them.

Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

maybe some did, but most understood this...

Neh 13:16 There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.
Neh 13:17 Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?
Neh 13:18 Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath.
Neh 13:19 And it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the sabbath, I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be brought in on the sabbath day.

Nehemiah understood and most Jews do also.

The Inspiration by Paul finds that ALL of the O.T. + N.T. ones of God agreed with one another! (if we can agree with Inspiration??:chin)

name a gentile at horeb/mt.sinai that is called of isreal.

one name that was there and not called part of so and so tribe. if you cant then that says a lot. it means that the acts 15 council was wrong when they commanded this

the context is under moses law. and the whole law. the sabbath is part of his law. its not found in genesis as none of the gentiles did it and or the patriarchs. only after the commands to do it exodus do we see it.
Hey you are wrong!:yes It was Adam & not Moses who had his first 7th Day Sabbathn Sermon after his first day of life!:study

How can you prove that from the Bible?:chin
Hi, can we agree that there are both the carnal & the Born Again Spiritual ones of today??
And that the sin of Adam required all of 'us' to be Born Again to become spiritual??

OK: (if so?) We are again spiritually created in the Image of God with the 'NEW BORN AGAIN BRAIN TO THINK WITH & USE'!;) (if we have been)

Now:
Adam & Eve were created on the sixth day of creation we find. Their FIRST DAY OF LIFE was to Worship on the Lord's Blessed & set aside for Holy use 7th Day Sabbath. (David has it as the Lord's MEMORIAL, or Birthday of creation week Ps.135:13)

And: What do you think that the Lord's VERY FIRST SERMON INCLUDED?? He had a 'TEST' set up in the Garden in the Very MIDST OF IT! THINK!!:yes (hey! even read Eccl. 3:15 that might help?)

What would He need to do that 'TESTING' for??? They were created PERFECT surely, yet they were still NOT CREATED MATURELY SO. (got that forum??)

You keep quoting this verse (Ecclesiastes 3:15) but you never explain what you think it has to do with anything you write. Would you mind explaining what you mean by quoting this verse all the time?

Ecc 3:15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

Amplified Bible (AMP)
15 That which is now already has been, and that which is to be already has been; and God seeks that which has passed by [so that history repeats itself].

New Century Version (NCV)

15 What happens now has happened in the past,
and what will happen in the future has happened before.
God makes the same things happen again and again.

Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
15 That which was is here already;
and that which will be has already been,
but God seeks out what people chase after.

Hi Reba...

I know the context in which Solomon is using these words (the context for them is in chapter 1, especially verses 8-11).

Here is the context:

All things are wearisome; Man is not able to tell it. The eye is not satisfied with seeing, Nor is the ear filled with hearing. That which has been is that which will be, And that which has been done is that which will be done. So there is nothing new under the sun.

Is there anything of which one might say, "See this, it is new"? Already it has existed for ages Which were before us. There is no remembrance of earlier things; And also of the later things which will occur, There will be for them no remembrance Among those who will come later still. Ecclesiastes 1:8-11 (NASB)

Solomon is lamenting the fact that life seems to be just one long unbroken chain of sunrises and sunsets with no purpose or meaning and he's tired of it. He repeats this lament in 2:12, 3:15, and 6:10 and the context of all of these verses is futility.

What I'm trying to get here is what Elijah means by repeatedly using Ecc. 3:15 when I'm not sure it's appropriate for every case in which he uses it.

Hi, we love you and you are in our twice daily devotions, yet I can only disagree with you and be loyal to Christ. Absolutely NOTHING personal!

You say.. 'I do believe the Beast will come from America.' and [I believe that USA is to be the beast] the beast that Rome will work (satan's man='s Church) through. They will 'finish' changing from lamb to dragon as Rev. 13 has it. Meaning the constitution will be changed to an up or down vote most likely. (no longer the 2/3rds as was built from heavens pattern) Yet, how that is done matters not, as long as USA is the State force for the last church.

And by the way, surely one can see that as Matt. 24:21 on in God allowing all of satan's hell (not the 2nd death one Tex) to break lose, we will have all the Rev. 17:1-5 CRY for a revival! We have got have God stop these JUDGEMENTS! (anything but.. with NO REFORMING) And the only thing that we see their agreement on is in Matt. 6:24's Words of Christ as UNITED in satan's camp. And next??? What is the only thing that they will all agree to which they already DO?? And yes, that will be the FINAL 666 TESTING before we are delivered.

And it will end up worldwide in the UN court as 'i' see it.

The SDA has nothing short of a sensationalist conspiracy 'theory' on this matter exercised to justify their particular view of the Saturday Sabbath.

If they would only see that they themselves do not stand sinless on Saturday either, they would also see the frailties of such measures.

No one, exactly none, are made sinless by showing up in the pew on Saturday, Sunday or any other day, period.

The exercise is thereby to justify ones self in the SDA as in 'keeping their salvation' via legal obedience, while they still admittedly have sin themselves which was not eradicated by their particular form of Saturday obedience.

They themselves then use that measure to heap the potential of eternal death on all other believers who do not do as they do.

So, what is really being revealed in them in those matters? Obviously the intentions to potentially kill other believers 'eternally' no less has been openly shown and aroused in their own hearts.

Quite sad really.

The entire conspiracy construct the SDA has itself is quite bizarre.
Nothing more than a wish that their Saturday view becomes proven and God therefore saves them only and potentially kills all other believers because only they were right.

But the law was always meant to prove us all sinners to begin with. Apparently a larger conspiracy to avoid this fact is underway and undertow and that is an 'internal' matter of not being truthful with regards to our own sin and seeking to potentially eternally kill other believers over the same matters of sin.

What an ugly ugly circle of nonsense.

If an SDA'er stood truthfully as a proven sinner on Saturday, they would quickly forget about judging other believers for their sin.
And they would also see the worthlessness of their intentions to other believers.

Utterly worthless. Can I emphasize this any more?

Hey, I'm still trying to figure how David's words in Psa. 135:13 has anything to do with a weekly Sabbath?

The Sabbath as all law has many functions, the greatest of which is to bring us to the truthful conclusions that we do in fact all have sin. Such a believer stands 'truthfully' under the law condemned for his own sin and will not try to exercise the potential of eternal death upon another believer over matters of sin and law.

Therein The Spirit Himself has delivered into such hearts the Spirit of Truth, of simple and basic honesty and that man, that believer has then a Divine Treasure in his own heart to share. That of truth and honesty.

The law is also and only a 'shadow' of the good things to come. And in that shadow we do get matters to observe and 'hope' is formed in us for the coming of those good things, here for example:

Galatians 5:5
For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

We certainly don't 'put that on' by showing up in a pew on Saturday proclaiming our legal obedience, or even less using the measures of sensationalism over the so called persecution that is contrived to supposedly come in this matter according to the SDA.

Bah humbug on all such measures.

Eccl. 3
[15] That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

Gen. 1
[26] And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
[27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
[28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
[29] And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
[30] And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
[31] And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

OK: What does God [Document] for the next day! Even note that each day had its start when? (Day Seven)

Exod. 20
[8] Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
[11] For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Gen. 2
[1] Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
[2] And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
[3] And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
....

[7] And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

If one can use our in God's 'Image thinking brain'? (no sarcasm intended! just fact??) And there was to be the Garden Testing, do you not think that God would WARN His creation? According to the Eccl. verses with just one seen there, he has done the same for.. & with us. The first 7th Day Sabbath sermon required a 'nothing new' WARNING! Stay off of the devil's ground!:sad

This is very scary for those whos faith will be tested when the order to mark us goes into full affect. I think about the believers who have a lot and wonder if they will let go of their assets and trust in God. Reminds me of the tax payer in the bible who decided to keep his riches over following Jesus. Consider the preachers who got very rich from their ministry's today and tomorrow? Will they fold? We can't answer that one until . . . N-way, I hope to have strong faith if I'm still around when that happens. I pray for all to have faith and let go of their cars, homes, bank accounts, etc.

When the time comes around for... death or life, (we all will go sometime) how one see it will be 'TESTED'. There is no other offering that is required! I doubt that Steven in Acts 7 'felt' any pain seeing that he was 'filled with the Holy Spirit' as seen in verse 55. But that is the FAITH that we find certain ones having! Heb. 11:1-3 + verse 13 telling us that these ALL DIED IN THE FAITH!

See Rom. 8:1 + OBEDIENCE of ibid 14.

This why I stay away from the media as much as I can. Haven't watched TV or movies in about 2 years. I want to cut back on my computer time and music.

The media is absolute filth. It promotes nothing but adulterous sex and stupidity. It will only get worse.

The mark of the beast, and the whole New World Order is promoted through the media. They get you from the youth. Look at all the skanky promiscuous pop artists. Funny how they all started out as Disney stars for kids. Just google "Mickey Mouse programming". Just as they catch the appeals for the youth like everything else; LeapFrog LeapPads getting kids ready to be iPad iZombies they're going to do the same with the Mark of the Beast. It's going to be offered as a solution, just like Social Security.
