Did you know that when you accepted Jesus into your heart that you are no longer your own person anymore! Through regeneration or Spiritual renewal you have chosen to surrender every aspect of your being to that of being a faithful servant of God. Through your respect for what God has done in your own life you have now picked up your cross to be that disciple and follow in the footsteps of Jesus.

Through humility we have laid down our own lives, our own will and obedience to this world in exchange for Gods will in our lives and our obedience to him as we become that faithful servant that is no longer of this world, but through perseverance we strive daily through all the struggles of this world as we become loyal to the works of the Lord as he sees us through everything we face in this world.
(Proverbs 15:33; Colossians 2:23; Romans 12:1-3; Philippians 3:7-12)

We become disciples of Jesus the day we ask him into our hearts for we now can know the mind of Jesus through the Holy Spirit that teaches us all things that Jesus was and still is as a faithful servant of God and today he uses those who are faithful to him to serve others through us. We are Gods hands, mouth and feet as he works through us to reach out to others. Just as the disciples were commanded to go out into the world, we too have that same commission.
(Luke 14:26, 27 – Vs. 26 means to put Christ first; John 14:26; Colossians Chapter 3; Matthew 28: 18-20)

God will use our talents for His glory as He takes us to where He wants us to be, even if it’s only for a time and season. We can only serve others by allowing the love of God work through us to reach out to those who need hope in their own lives. We can do nothing of our own selves, but through the guidance of the Holy Spirit we can do all things that we might deem incapable of doing by allowing the Holy Spirit work through us.
(Philippians 4:13)

We are a vessel and not only just a vessel, we need to be a vessel of honor that brings glory and honor to the Lord in all we do and in all things we speak to others as we need to lift up and edify each other in the love of the Lord, not tear down and discriminate against each other. The Lord will allow the wheat and tares grow together, but only God will separate and keep what is his.
(Matthew 22:36-39; Romans Chapter 14; Ephesians Chapter 4)

paul's word, that word bondserveant was the greek word for slave. its the best description of how we are to act to God in the sense that we yield our will and place God first. not that I have learned how to do that well. yet when we do, often God will bless us then and surely in the age to come. man hath not the power to save himself, to actually without any help from God or allowance by God do anything.

Yes! This was the basic contract I signed on my knees as my sponsor was trying to sober me up. Amen

If people knew how wonderful it is after you surrender, they would be lining up.

I surrendered in stages as I mention elsewhere. In 1982 to God, through the Holy Spirit. In 2005 to Christ.

I am not the same person. My individual identity was transformed but God kept the basic raw material because he had use for it. The rest is gone. I am a writer but before Christ my writing was mediocre. I have an ego and God uses it to hold on to my self-esteem when rejected.

Before I felt useless. I am not the person I was. I am not the person I will become. Surrendering and transformation, for me,, is a process. It has taken all of my 71 years and I am not done yet.

For His Glory: You are a healer. Not all people are healers therefore they do not have to surrender everything. They just live their life loving the Lord without being called to serve him as a transformed person. No offense but this is how I explain it to myself when I meet someone who says they have surrendered but want to hold on to their identify.

There is a place for all of us in the kingdom. As Christ said, there are many mansions.

then God would have to let Sodom and also not to order the homosexual acts as being judged in the tanakh as sins. he would have simply to have listed the acts as being ok in marriage and yet he didn't. he could have made man that way but didn't. Gods choice.

Twice in Revelation it says this is a PROBLEM.
