OK, now I have red it, but there is nothing which advert to point what You meant?

Somebody peoples argue, that Melkisedek was Jesus....that is as unbeliavable as Noah was Melkisedek. I dont find out nothing evidences, which support Noah or Jesus were Melkisedek...

Dear hummingbird,

Thanks for your response.......

Only one person has every walked upon this earth without being born into it, that was Noah. Even Jesus came through the matrix. I repeat, only Noah ever walked this earth without being born here through father or mother.

Hebrews 7 gives lots of clues to the identity of Melchizedek or Melchisedec as it is spelt in the NT.

Hebrew 7:3 tells us that....... without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

Noah came from the old world and had no lineage as far as this earth age is concerned. He is without begininng of days according to this age we live in now. He is like the son of God through his priesthood and his building of the ark for salvation.

I try neither to convince or convert you of anything Iam only sharing my belief.

28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed. [Noah: Gr. Noe: that is Rest, or, Comfort]

NT???

Yes, that`s true, but Melchisedec not Noah....

1. Gen 5

Nobody in Bible says, that Noah was Melchisedec

28 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.

Sorry...nothing evidences..

That is not problem, I dont believe any words :biggrin just a joke....That is very exciting and mystical person in The Old Testament and it`s nice to investigate who he is. So, dont worry...

By the way, where do You live, Andy? USA?

Dear hummingbird,

Hebrews 7:4 now consider how great this man was.......

Melchisedec is described as a man and a KIng of righteousness without father or mother.

Noah had parents but not from this world, his parentage and lineage were from the old world that was destroyed by the flood. There has been no-one not even the Lord himself that hasn't had parents on this earth. Only Noah.

Melchizedek means king of righteousness. Noah is described as righteous in Genesis 7:1. In Genesis 9 Noah is given Kingship and Priesthood.

Please tell me who it is if it isn't Noah ?

by the way I am Scottish

Very interesting, I`m not sure anymore who he was. Okay, let see choices:

1st : Jesus: there is nothing to support that, only mental image

2nd: Noah: interesting, there is something, whichcan
support that one (why his name has changed?)

3st: X : He was man from the first creation, I think this is at the moment best alternation

Andy,one point:

3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

28 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.
29 And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.

Dear hummingbird,

Noah was the last Patriarch from the old earth and first of the new world. Noah didn't die in the old world he transended from one world to the next. Read Hebrews 7:3 a little more closely you'll note it dosen't say Melchisedec didn't die, it says he was "without end of life". There is a difference. Hebrews7:16 tells what that means.

The change of name shouldn't be an issue for you. The name signifies
the position and title given by God. King of righteousness.

That way we can think, that all of whom had been in the Ark, they had been without mom, dad etc....? Noah wife, children and their wifes....

What else means "end of life" than death?

How this verse 7:16 join of this deathless of Melchisedec?

Not so, Noahs' sons had their father with them in this world.

Thanks for the reply and thanks for the discussion.

No, maybe....somebody have said, that Melchisedec was man from the first creation??

(Adam and Noah etc were second generation)

Please, read Hebr 7

(Adam and Noah etc were second generation)

So what was the generation before Adam then ?

One possibility is that:

First generation:

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth

**************************'

Something went wrong:

2. And the Earth came anarchy and chaos and darkness was upon the face of the deep.

=

(18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.)

*********************************************'

and second generation?

No ! I disagree.

Adam to Noah was the first earth age.

it is written

1 ¶ For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

It is written - that Melchizedek was without father, without mother, without descent;
no beginning of days, no end of life.

It is written - Noah had a father and a beginning of days -
Gen.5:28 ¶ And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
29 And he called his name Noah

It is written - Noah had an end of life -
Genesis 9:29 And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.

It is written - Noah has descent -
Many times scripture list genealogy that includes Noah, with those who came before him and those who came after.

Saying "before the flood" and "after the flood" doesn't change the bloodline of Adam.
That line of descent passed right through Noah.
I have to think, simply going by what is written eliminates Noah as Melchizedek.

Mathematically - Noah died when Abram was 58;
Abram didn't set out on his journey until he was 75;
Noah was dead before Abram met Melchizedek.

Shalom
