This is a great film by one of my favorite directors (Paul Thomas Anderson who did Boogie Nights, Magnolia). It is an interesting look at love and insecurity. The film stars Adam Sandler in a brilliant preformance as a young businessman who has been 'kicked around' by his older sisters for too long. He has grown incredibly insecure over all the many years of abuse.

Anyway, this a great film!

hehe......as always, threads about this kinda films go with little of none response in christian forums.......anyways, i loved this film! This thread just reminded me that i need to go and buy the DVD......Adam Sandler's performance was fantastic, and i hope he works with Paul T. Anderson in the future....

This film is a must see...strongly recommended, but don't expect another "Waterboy" or "Mr. Deeds"......

I haven't seen this movie because I'm torn...

I love Paul Thomas Anderson.

I hate Adam Sandler.

Really, you should rent this flick...Sandler's great in it...he doesn't get any acoustic guitar spots in this one...don't worry...

Yeah, I will...

It'll be tough for me, though. I don't want to see Sandler "legitimized."

I think you have to be drunk or doing drugs to understand this movie. I went and wanted to walk out about 3/4 way through because of how dumb it really was.

The 5 minute display of rainbow colored kalideoscope? What was with that?

NOT worth the money, buy something else of higher quality. I was diappointed with Sandler on this one. I'm a huge fan.

i HATED this film- it was boring. well acted and shot, but boring. the script was lacking and i felt the movie just didnt say much. its a movie about nothing. granted, most people i know loved it and i see why. just not my type of film. but i blame it on the script.
