What thoughts come to mind as you compare the first and last verses of the book of John?

Chapter 18 or the whole book?

The whole book... though most questions, are referring to chapter 1:1-18

Jn. 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Jn. 21:25 "Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.

Jesus has a title and that is the WORD. When a disciple records something that Jesus did, it is called His Word. There must be a very large amount of Words that Jesus spoke that never, in this life time be read. Perhaps when we go to heaven, we will hear "the rest of the story."

Oh that's cool. I never thought about it like that, hearing the rest of the story. That's exciting.
