Hey all.

I am going to do a Bible study on the Bible and Its amazing authenticity.

I am looking for facts on the Bible like science, preservation, proof of Divine Authorship, and things like that.

Any help would be.....um.....helpful.

I dont know what type of proof you look for that would not be in the bible. But one thing comes to mind that I have watched on DVD, it is called the Signature of God by Grant R. Jeffrey. It also comes in book form. It had some scientific evidence and other amazing discoveries on there.

Josh McDowell's "Evidence That Demands a Verdict" has a substanial amount of apologetics material.

I have "The New Evidence..." that you are talking about and it is really a great book to have around.

I don't think it is a "sit and read" book but more of a reference and study guide.

"Evidence That Demands a Verdict" can be a "sit and read" book. Especially the testimonies in the back of the book from people like Lew Wallace, Werner Molders, and some other less famous people.

It's written in outline form, and VERY well footnoted.

Read about the findings of Ivan Panin. He proved that there are
numeric signatures in the Bible that are impossible to reproduce
while keeping any meaningul sentences.

The proof was presented to the Nobel people, that couldn't find a
fault in it. It requires some advanced logic thinking however to
understand the findings of Panin in the first place. For minds
that are not accustomed to strict logic and naturally mix every
straight facts with personal opinion it proves of course nothing.

I read one of Panin's books and it proves 100% that both old and
new testament have numeric signatures that no human writer
can reproduce and maintain any contextual meaningful flow
at the SAME TIME. It's impossible.
