So what Jay is actually saying is that we need to understand the gospel, and that Psalm 51 contains this message.

That's very different from the title of the thread.

Sure is!

Yet, we are accountable for our 'misunderstandings' even! Never will we 'go through' [IN CHRIST] by being too prideful to admit our mistakes? NO ONE!

If we want any credibility 'for Christ' we must first be IN full submission of the Truth that is in CHRIST!---Elijah

A second question...can someone who never heard the name of Jesus NOR the Gospel get to Heaven?

#1.) John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God".

#2.) 1 Peter 1:23 "Being born again...... [by the word of God] .....which liveth and abideth for ever". (emphasis supplied).

Oooooook...I will assume that somehow you can harmonize that with Romans 2:11-15. :)

Oooooook...

What does that mean Vic?? My Norton anti/Virous (sp?) let that slip by! :fadein:

I should hope the Bible harmonizes with itself !

Romans 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

2:13 (For not the hearers of the law [are] just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
2:15 Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and [their] thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another"

Is that what you call a retraction??? If it is, then it is easy to understand why Adventism is in the shape that it is! For you are no better at admitting 'mistakes' (so far) as they! :sad (see Matt. 23:2-3 'For they say and do not')

Your thread's posting 'still' has not been corrected by you! I ask that you go back as a moderator that you are, and correct the 'foolish' thing! Or are you choosing to show that you are going against the Master's Word of 2 Cor. 4:2?

"But have [renounced the hidden things of hishonesty,] not walking in craftiness, [nor handling the Word of Goddeceitfully]; but [manifestation of TRUTH to every man's CONSCIENCE IN THE SIGHT OF GOD]."

---Elijah

Elijah,
Sorry it has taken so long to respond. But no, I was not directing my post towards you. It was directed towards Rebazar and his post about willfully sinning after salvation.

Here is an interesting thought about Adventism, is that church teaching that the fold of adventism is once saved always saved? Perhaps we can get a straight answer from a 'straight' 3 angels guy here?

Compare this below post from 'space' with adventism, and see if there are any comparisons?

Did some of the early on ones get the 'flawed' doctrine of 'once saved always saved' another way than being BORN AGAIN?

Baptism of the Holy Ghost was just for 'some'? Without Me, ye can do NOTHING Christ stated in John 15:5 last part of the verse, and that was 'just not' for all of His created ones? but just the professed of the New Testament?

And Matt. 28:20 is a new thing? COMMANDED & THEN UN/COMMANDED??? No law??? And this is not the Tower of Babel'ing?

Then comes: The Law of God was not in the Born Again Abraham's heart!?? It came latter & then it was 'finished'! Nailed to the cross! G-O-N-E!! Gone Gone Gone! (so says Dan. 7:25's ones)

"Because that Abraham OBEYED MY **VOICE,** (see Acts 5:32!) AND KEPT [MY CHARGE, *MY COMMANDMENTS, * MY STATUTES, AND MY *LAWS." Gen. 26:5 [ALL OF THEM!!] This is why he was BLESSED! (see verse 4)
But!
There is NO Everlasting Gospel or Everlasting Covenant now most falsely teach! 'see' Rev. 14:6 & Heb. 13:20!

Interesting 'false' theology is seen in Babylon & in her daughters of Rev. 17:5 teaching!

Some are teaching O.S.A.S and other folds are telling all to just stay in the fold, that it is going through? What is the diff
erance?[/color]
