Kids just have no imaginations today like we did back in the 50's - 70's. There are eight kids in our family and we always found things to do. Anytime someone would buy something in a rather large box we would pretend all kinds of things playing in those boxes. Would climb trees an make can phones and string them between the trees. Played all the usual childhood outdoor games. Made forts in the woods, go-carts, stilts. Always had fresh veggies from the garden and many different fruit trees. We didn't have much growing up, but what we had was the whole world to us.

It is amazing how times have changed and so quick, or is it just me?.

I mean dang if a kid wants to climb a tree these days they would probably have to wear a harness, hard hat, high vis, a heap of safety cones and of course with adult supervision, or, maybe not even that, its just banned, too dangsrous in the name of health and safety of course.

Sitting on devices all day getting brainwashed playing games being lazy, no problem.
