Modern Christendom is so easy and low risk to apprehend. All it takes is muttering something about "asking Jesus into your heart" to get saved, something not found in Scripture. The really skilled pewsitters are good at Churchy sounding aphorisms. They learn these from the professional Church talkers.

Rather, scripture declares "Blessed are they which hunger and thirst after righteousness." And, wise is the person who sells all for a hidden treasure. And Godly is the person who rebukes his family security, his family identity, his family resources to run after Christ. Very extra special are those Believers who get their heads chopped off by heathen idiots.

To demonstrate God's Will for Real Believers to not be chatty little twinks, He provided for Jesus to show us what to say and do right in people's faces what is the opposite of being "nice," being "polite," and being "supportive." Jesus was never nice, never polite, never tolerant of anyone's mistakes.

Yeah...I'm not sure that I believe that.

While I was yet busy being a sinner Jesus was busy dying for my sins.
Then there's all the focus on loving kindness, patience, and long-suffering.

The Pharisees and other "church people" were the ones who got the harshest comments from Jesus. Not the average schmuck who just wanted forgiveness. He got huge gifts.

Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

How much did Jesus love us, read this list below.
