What Would Jesus Do (W.W.J.D)

Seems like every NBA player wears this new wristband these days. The wristbands come in all colors and feature a writing saying "W.W.J.D", meaning What Would Jesus Do. According to some Christians I've been in touch with, Christians look at this wristband whenever their in the middle of a heated situation to think of what Jesus woulda done in a similar situation. Iverson, who is a Christian himself, probably wears this one to tell the world that he has a close relationship with God. I have seen Allen wear red and black ones. He started wearing these W.W.J.D. wristbands in the playoffs last season, and since then Isiah Rider, Allan Houston and several other NBA players have started wearing them. They don't cost much and are probably available somewhere near you.

I've even heard Kobe Byrant mention God many times after his latest ordeal. I wonder if this all has caused him to realize that he needs the Lord? I was watching his press conference when he signed with the Lakers this past summer, and he must have mentioned God at least three times, and said that he'd been praying as well.
AI mentioned God too during an olympics interview, that's cool to see. I wonder if he's finally growing up! :) Another Christian is Michael Redd, his father's a pastor and I've read things that he's said about his faith. It's great to see like-minded people in sports! :)
And you'd appreciate this God's Child, Kyle Davis, one of the new guys the Nets have picked up, has a cross tatoo. I couldn't find any articles on him and his faith, but I'm sure we'll learn more about him as the season starts. Here's a picture: http://cache.gettyimages.com/comp/51047 ... 9B9B114CE8
