Christ prophecied of a city that would kill the prophets and saints sent to it. Here is the prophecy.

It is not until this city is destroyed and desolate that the Lord will return.

Anyone see how Christ prophecy in the gospel corresponds to the prophecy in Revelation?

Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

The full context of those scriptures you post has nothing to do with the prophecy against the seven hills found in Rev 17.

Matthew 23 1-36 is about Jesus characterizing the Pharisees and then condemning them.

Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Rev 17 is about mystery Babylon, mother of harlots, Rev 18 is about Babylon the great being destroyed and Rev 19 is about the return of Christ who cast alive the beast and its false prophet into the lake of fire.

Pharisee was not the name of the city Jesus was prophecying of. The name of the city is Jerusalem. That city that kills the prophets and saints.

That city that sits on seven hills.

Yea, a harlot.

Where in Matthew 23:1-36 does it mention anything about the seven hills as these scriptures are about the seven woes to the Scribes and Pharisees.

The old city of Jerusalem sits on seven hills.
And yes, the harlot John saw is a city. That is the word of God.

Isaiah chapter 1 is about the condemnation of Judah as they went astray as they bowed to ritualism and selfishness whoring like a harlot after other gods as being unprincipled or immoral. It has nothing to do with who Mystery Babylon the great, the mother of harlots is, nor about the scribes and Pharisees in Matthew 23:1-36.

The harlot is Jerusalem who rejected the bridegroom, Messiah (king of Israel) and have chosen to themselves a king to lead them. His symbol is a star.

The words "seven hills" is not written in Matthew 23. I agree that Jerusalem sits on seven hills, but is not the same seven hills that John speaks of in Rev 17:9. Rev 17 is about the great prostitute and the beast being the son of perdition in the end of days that will take its literal seat in Jerusalem as being an abomination to God, Daniel 7:1-8; Matthew 24:15; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12.

Amos chapters 5, 6 is the third sermon of Amos list the sins of the house of Israel and calls the people to repent. But they hate integrity, justice, compassion and their refusal to turn to God will lead to their exile. Although they arrogantly wallow in luxury their time of prosperity will suddenly come to an end. This is all about the past, present and future judgement of the northern kingdoms being Damascus, Gaza, Tyrus, Edom, Moab, Judah, Israel as all future judgements against Israel are deserved.

The only king with a symbol of a star that I know of is king David. What king and star are you speaking of?

David did not worship idols so that symbol did not come from David.
It represents the Israel government and is seen on its flag. The symbol for the government they choose. That is the government they have chosen after rejecting Christ.
Yes they shall go into exile for worshiping both thier government, his kingdom, and its symbol.
Just like a harlot to reject the bridegroom and choose another.
