Scripture Of The Day - Streams In The Desert

Genesis 50:20 - "You (the schemes of the enemy) intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives."

We are in uncharted territory, but the King is leading the way forward into "streams in the desert," making a way where there seems to be no way. It's normal to feel like the way ahead is uncertain, but the Lord would have you know, HE is our certainty and safe place.

We are born for such a time as now, and these are our finest days. The Lord is equipping us for the season ahead of Kingdom advancement and equipping of the saints. There is an urging from the throne room to seek the Lord and cast off everything that prevents close connection to God's heart. God is holy, and He is calling us to Himself in deeper surrender.

Lukewarm connection to God will not allow access to the hidden manna God is giving His people in this season. Authentic connection which includes understanding our identity in Christ, right standing with God, and walking in the spirit coupled with surrender by laying aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us (Hebrews 12:1) -- we are prepared for something brand new, something unheard of, so we decree new beginnings and strength.

Scripture Of The Day - Manifesting His Life

Luke 10:22 - “All things have been committed to me by my Father.”

As the Holy Spirit reveals Jesus. He is real – the living Word, effective, acting, speaking, thinking praying, singing. It is a wonderful life, the substance of the Word of God, which includes possibility, and opportunity, which confronts us, bringing us to a place undaunted.

Jesus has given us power over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). All must be subject to His power. What should we do to “work the works of God?’ (John 6:28). "This is the work of God, that you believe” (verse 29).

We must remain in a strong, resolute resting on the authority of God’s Word, rejoicing in the manifestation of the life of God, through us, on behalf of the sick and perishing multitudes.

Scripture Of The Day - The Spirit Is Upon Us

2 Peter 1:4 - “you may become partakers of the divine nature,"

Wherever Jesus went, multitudes followed Him, because He lived, moved, breathed, was swallowed up, clothed, and filled by God. He left 120 men to turn the world upside down.

The Spirit is upon us to change our situation. We must move on; we must let God increase in us for the deliverance of souls to be born and quickened into a relationship with Heaven. Jesus had divine authority with power, and He left it for us.

We must thirst more for God. Let us live in holiness, and God will enable us to do the purpose to which we are appointed. All Jesus said came to pass: signs, wonders, mighty deeds. Only believe, and yield and yield and yield, until all the vision is fulfilled.

Scripture Of The Day - Praying For The Lost

2 Corinthians 4:3,4 - “And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."

Since God doesn’t save anyone against their will, does it really do any good to pray for people who consciously refuse to receive Jesus as Lord?

YES IT DOES!

Unbelievers who have purposely refused to receive Jesus as Lord think they’ve made that decision of their own free will – the truth is, they haven’t. The Word of God says they’ve been blinded by Satan. He’s Blocking their perception of the truth. So their decision hasn’t been freely made at all.

Through the prayer of intercession, you can interfere with the satanic forces and help take those blinders off! You can also change circumstances with your prayers and help create situations that will bring them in contact with the Lord. Believe when you pray and open their eyes to the glorious gospel of God.

Scripture Of The Day - Reason That We Want To Forget The Past

Isaiah 43:25,26 - “I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins. Put Me in remembrance, let us argue our case together; State your cause, that you may be proved right.”

As long as you allow the devil to keep reminding you of past sins and failures, he will take advantage of you. Constantly dwelling on the past will keep your faith inoperative. And as long as you have no confidence in your own faith, your prayers will be hindered.

Why does God say that He won’t remember our sins for His own sake? So that He can bless us! He blots out our sins for His own sake so He can help us and demonstrate His great mercy and love on our behalf.

Scripture Of The Day - Strike The Ground!

2 Kings 13:17-19 - “Elisha declared. ‘You will completely destroy the Arameans at Aphek.’ Then he said, ‘Take the arrows,’ and the king took them. Elisha told him, 'Strike the ground.’ He struck it three times and stopped. The man of God was angry with him and said, 'You should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it.”

Be silent no more! Strike the ground! Believe that you are powerful and step into the fulfillment of God’s purpose for your life. Sanctify your tongue unto Him so that only praises flow from your mouth and not curses. Walk in forgiveness, daily, so that your arrows remain sharp and none will fall to the ground.

He is advancing in the earth and together you will take new territory for the Kingdom of Light. “Open wide your mouth and I will fill it.” (Psalm 81:10)

Scripture Of The Day - Secret To The Power Of Prayer

Psalm 42:2 - "My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?"

How can you acquire an intimate experience of the presence of God in your communion with Him?

Believe with your whole heart that He offers Himself as the listener. Give God the occasion to make Himself known to you when you approach Him in prayer. You will never discover this, however, if you do not take time to have genuine fellowship with God.

The power of prayer does not lie in the number or earnestness of the words you use, but in a living faith that God Himself accepts both you and your prayer into His loving heart.

Scripture Of The Day - Yielding Ourselves To HIm

Revelation 3:20 - “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.”

When He walked the earth He stayed open as a door—a passageway between Heaven and Earth. He released the Kingdom of God from His Spirit, His inner man, to the outer world. Jesus, as a door, was fully open to our Father in Heaven and fully open to us on Earth. Through Him, Father worked freely.

At the very door of your heart, He is knocking. As soon as you open, yielding yourself to Him, unreservedly, He will enter. But how can we hear His voice if we do not listen?

If we are “in Christ”, we are moving with the most pressing speed, for we are “in” the most dynamic man who ever walked the earth. When He says to us, “Follow me”, He is inviting us to a high-speed chase down the roads of our life. On that chase there is no rest except eternal rest and no security except eternal security.

Scripture Of The Day - Arise And Shine

"Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you." - Isaiah 60:1 NASB

"Arise and Shine." He says to you, "What is your mountain? Where do you have to go to shine to be seen? What do you have to do? For there is a mobilization He is calling you to that is far greater than you've ever known before. You will advance in the day of His power, so stir yourself up, stir yourself up on your most holy faith and get on your boots and get ready to be a mountain climber.

He is calling His people together to go forward -- even now receive a new anointing of faith, receive a new revelation of His PURPOSE for your life, receive a new anointing of strength, receive a new anointing of grace, fear not for He with you. Resist the devil and he will flee, so it's time to "shine."

Scripture Of The Day - Abiding Consciousness

Psalm 25:12 - "Who is the man who fears the LORD?"

The abiding consciousness of the life is to be God, not thinking about Him. The whole of our life inside and out is to be haunted by the presence of God.

We are to live and move and have our whole being in God, to look at everything in relation to God, because the abiding consciousness of God pushes itself to the front all the time -- nothing else can get in, no cares, no tribulation, no anxieties.

Affirmation:

Today, I carry my open heaven with me; I live and minister under an open heaven, and God continues to surprise me day-to-day. God's favor comes upon me because I pursue His presence and nothing more. I desired Him alone, above all else. I seek His presence, not the blessings His presence brings.

Scripture Of The Day - Living Out Your Potential In Christ

1 Corinthians 2:9 - “But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him. These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God."

God designed you to live out the careful plans He prepared for you. You are made in God’s image. The plan He wrote for you is perfect and right. No detail or part is missing.

You have the potential to live out all that God has planned for your life – but only if you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.

Though you may have messed up God’s plan for your life, He graciously offers to write another book for you. Accept yourself as God made you. Allow His power to transform your weaknesses, rather than belittling yourself when you make mistakes.

Scripture Of The Day - Starting My Day In Him

Isaiah 26:9 - "My soul yearns for you in the night."

What is the most worthwhile thing you can experience on earth? Nothing less than God Himself! What is the first and most important thing to be done each day? It is nothing less than to seek, to know, to live, and to praise God.

So begin every day of the year with the impassioned prayer of David: "O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you...in a dry and weary land" (Psalm 63:1). As you persevere in this, you will learn to expect the presence of God to surround you throughout the day.

Scripture Of The Day - Launching Out Into Priestly Work

1 Peter 2:9 - "But you are...a royal priesthood."

By what right do we become "a royal priesthood?"

By the right of the Atonement. Are we prepared to leave our self-absorbed existence and launch out into the priestly work of helping others with their spiritual lives in Christ? There is only one place where we are right, and that is in Christ Jesus.

Move on out in the reckless belief that the Redemption is complete and begin to demonstrate the life and priesthood of Jesus by pouring our lives into advancing His Kingdom.

Scripture Of The Day - Consumed With Our Battles

Luke 2:44,45 - "But supposing Him to be in the company they went a day's journey, and they sought Him among their kinsfolk and acquaintances; and when they did not find Him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking Him."

Likewise, many of us have become so consumed with our battles that we fail to notice Jesus is not with us on our journey. Jesus' parents returned to where they had last seen Him; so also must we. To renew us, God is bringing us back to our most recent encounter with the living Christ.

To reach our place of breakthrough, God is bringing us back to the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.

For My Prayerful Consideration:

IS NOT INTIMACY WITH GOD THE VERY THING I HAVE NEGLECTED?

AS I AM DRAWN INTO THE PRESENCE OF GOD, I PUT ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

WHAT SEEMS TO ME LIKE A TIME OF DESOLATION IS MORE TRULY A TIME OF PREPARATION FOR THE NEXT MOVE OF GOD IN HIS PURPOSE FOR MY LIFE.

GOD HAS PREPARED FOR ME A NEW BEGINNING.

2 Corinthians 11:3 - "But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ."

OUR TRIUMPH IN JESUS' FINISHED WORK ON THE CROSS

Matthew 16:25 - "For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; but whoever loses his life for my sake shall find it."

Following Him always leads to the cross. His triumph was the cross, and it is ours too.
If we are in Christ we are to be dead to this world and alive to our calling in Christ (God's purpose for our life). It is impossible to offend a dead person. It is impossible for a dead person to feel rejected or abused. If this is true we can respond to any situation with God's love.

Scripture Of The Day - Understanding My Identity In Christ

Numbers 13:33 - "And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, who come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight."

How does the devil see you?

Does He see you as a terrifying and mighty warrior of God...or does he see you as a weak target he can prey on. If in your own sight, you're a weak, powerless Christian, the devil will run over you multiple times a day. But when you begin to see yourself as God sees you, as a conquering son or daughter of the Almighty God equipped with the very power of God Himself, the devil will want to steer clear of you.

If you are not strong in the Lord in your own sight, you need to change that. You need to get full of God's Word regarding who you are in Christ, your right standing with God, and walking in the Spirit. Turn the tables on the devil and let him find out what it feels like to be a grasshopper for a change.

Scripture Of The Day - Becoming Sensitive To Your Own Spirit

Galatians 5:16 - "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh."

It is time for you to do everything you can to move up into a higher realm. Fixate on the goal of walking in the Spirit. Develop your own human spirit; do what you can to become more sensitive to the Spirit of God.

When you become more spiritually sensitive, it will be easier for you to keep in step with the Holy Spirit. And as you follow Him and live to please the Lord, you will find that walking in the Spirit becomes a habit. You'll deny your flesh for so long that its voice will eventually become weaker and weaker and weaker -- until, finally, it will no longer have any authority in your life.

God is calling you higher! He wants you to leave the low life you've been living and to come up to the spiritual path He has destined for you.

Scripture Of They Day - Clothed In His Spirit

2 Corinthians 1:4 - "He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us."

We need a revelation of a greater power, an abiding presence sustaining and comforting us in the hour of trial. What more do we need in these last days when perilous times are upon us than to be filled and saturated with the Holy Spirit!

Baptized into Him, never to come out. May we know nothing among men except Jesus Christ and Him crucified (1 Corinthians 2:2). May we be clothed with His Spirit -- nothing outside of the Blessed Holy Spirit.

In all the chastening, correcting, and hardship, we are strengthened so that we may endure and so that we may comfort others "with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

Scripture Of They Day - Meeting Him In Timelessness

Wait patiently with Him while He blesses you. Don’t rush into His Presence with time-consciousness gnawing at your mind. He dwells in timelessness: He is, He was, He will always be. For you can handle only twenty-four-hour segments of life. Time can also be a tyrant, ticking away relentlessly in your mind. Learn to master time, or it will be your master.

Though you are a time-bound creature, seek to meet Him in timelessness. As you focus on His Presence, the demands of time and tasks will diminish. He will bless you and keep you, making His Face shine upon you graciously, giving you Peace.

"But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me." - Micah 7:7

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” - Revelation 1:8

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” - Numbers 6:24–26

Scripture Of The Day - Believing in Jesus' Finished Work

Luke 11:38 - "When the Pharisee saw it, he was surprised that He had not first ceremonially washed before the meal."

If we are still "doing" acts of holiness to get God to move in our lives, then we are still operating under a "law" mentally that is not faith (Galatians 3:12). The legalist thinks, 'I can GET God to heal me by confessing "by His stripes I am healed.'"

The person who understands God's grace will not confess God's word with the motive of trying to GET God to heal him but will confess "By His stripes I am healed" because he really believes it has already been done at Jesus' finished work at the cross.

If the motive for our actions is to be accepted by God, that's legalism. If we live wholly out of faith and gratefulness for what Christ has already done, that's grace. Grow in Grace!

Scripture Of The Day - Building A Jesus Consciousness

Philippians 3:10 - “That I may know Him.”

Do I know Him where I am today? The initiative of the saint is not towards self-actualization, but towards knowing Jesus Christ.

The spiritual saint never thinks of his life as both worldly and sacred; he sees all trials and tribulations as the means of securing the knowledge of Jesus Christ. There is a reckless abandonment about him.

The Holy Spirit is determined that we shall realize Jesus Christ in every domain of life, and He will bring us back to the same point again and again until we do.

Every phase of our actual life has its counterpart in the life of Jesus. Our aim, as spiritual saints, is to secure the realization of Jesus Christ in every set of circumstances we are in.
