Scripture Of The Day - Living Set-Apart

1 Chronicles 16:29 - "Give to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering, and come before Him. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness!"

As Believers in Jesus, we have been issued an invitation to live a life of holiness before God – to be set apart like He is. To be totally and radically different than the world. The power of the Spirit enables us to live "set apart" to God.

God has not called us to dry religion but the living waters of His presence – where we can come and drink at any time and learn to walk in His purpose for our life. "They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures." (Psalm 36:8) Eat of His Words and drink of His Spirit! In doing this you cannot help but discover life-changing transformation into His very image!

Scripture Of The Day - Seeking According To The Biblical Reality

John 3:13 - "No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven."

He was describing a lifestyle with the Father -- even though He was standing on earth He had ascended into heavenly realms in His relationship with God. That is an invitation for every believer. Colossians 3:1 - "If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God."

We are as raised from the dead as Jesus because it is actually His resurrection. By consideration of that biblical truth, the Lord invites us into an encounter where we start thinking and seeking according to the biblical reality. It comes from the fact that when Jesus was raised from the dead (as you) He defeated every enemy of humanity -- His victory is your victory.

Scripture Of The Day - The Ascended Life As A Lifestyle

Galatians 6:7 - "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."

It is a mockery to question that I can obey God and not have a reward. It is a mockery to think that I could do something that God would not take notice of.

Your inheritance in Christ is a lifestyle -- it is a place to live from. it seems so abstract because it is so different from ordinary daily living and mindsets. We live from the abiding presence of the resurrected Christ -- it changes how we live and what we expect. The throne life -- the ascended life is the invitation for every believer.

When you have tasted supernatural supply you have lost the right to begin any thought pattern of what you do not have. We live under the kingdom we think most about -- what our heart and mind are anchored in.

Scripture Of The Day - Upgrading Expectations And Mindsets

Psalm 18:19 - "He brought me out into a spacious place."

In this season you're going to find yourself in the front, where many will see and be blessed by what you carry and what God has developed in the secret place.

This will also require you to carry yourself differently, and think of yourself differently. This is your new normal. Your new standard and place in the spirit has been upgraded; now its time to upgrade your expectations and mindsets.

This is your season of favor and promotion. He has brought you to a spacious place, the place of exceedingly, abundantly, above all you can think or imagine. God has set a new normal for your life, His normal is becoming your new normal.

1 Corinthians 13:13 NKJV

"And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love."

Very often I pray that my heart will be filled with love.
We can't reach people without it.
Good! This is a revelation in itself. Understanding the importance of love. My understanding of love is that we can't find love in ourselves.
Love is found in God. The Bible says that God is love!
So to be filled with love I believe we need be filled with THG, and understanding God more. Then love will come I believe

I agree Link. Love is a gift from God, because He is love.
Love and faith are given to us, if we don't use faith it won't grow and we can lose it. If we don't use love it will go away and we are no use to God.

Yes. I also want to say that love is a relationship with God as our father. So it is a family. The church is..
Just wanted to say that because it's important to understand. And many think about God far away and separated from us. When I strongly believe it really is the opposite.
Shalom! Thank God! Right?

Definitely so. It is God's love that we show. The Father proves to us just how close He is. When you pray you can feel Him there, just as Jesus is, and The Holy Spirit.
What an amazing, loving God we have.

Blessings to you Link.

Scripture Of The Day - THE EMPOWERING INFUSION OF CHRIST IN YOU

Philippians 4:13 in the Amplified declares, "I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]...”

This is the glorious mindset of an overcomer - You will be focused and strengthened; you will not be distracted. You will be deliberate and resistance will not stop you or cause you to doubt.

You will release a shout that will bring down the mountain because His knowledge is established and set in - set in you! This is a place of "YES!” in your spirit. This is a holy, empowered position from which one engages a divine inner strength and surety without pride, but with holy confidence and boldness in the Holy Spirit.

Where once certain types of circumstances or settings intimidated you or where rejection beat you down - You discover the empowering infusion of Christ in you.

Scripture Of The Day - Moving Forward in Your Christ Destiny

Micah 2:13 AMP - "The breaker [the Messiah, who opens the way] shall go up before them [liberating them]. They will break out, pass through the gate and go out; so their King goes on before them, the Lord at their head."

The Lord is going before you right now with new power to break things open for you -- the key to this is to keep moving forward and don't stop or look back. It is important to keep your eyes on the Lord and not the waves or the voices of discouragement.

There is an angry wind trying to get you distracted from the coming breakthrough. The Lord is taking what is intended for evil and any setbacks in your life and bringing a blessing and turnaround.

Negative situations will have a good outcome as you keep your focus and trust in God. As you pray and ask God for repayment of your losses and attacks against you, you are filing a claim in the courts of Heaven.

Scripture of The Day - Reclamation Of The Glory

Galatians 1:16 - "To reveal his Son in me, that I might present Him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood."

Many believers have lost the glory because they have been taken up with the natural. If we are going to accomplish in the Spirit the thing God has purposed for us in this season, we can never turn again to the flesh.

If we believers are to go forth and fulfill God's PURPOSE for our life, the Holy Spirit must be constantly filling us and moving upon us until our whole being is on fire with the presence and power of God with His love flowing into our heart -- walking in the divine likeness, having no confidence in the flesh, but growing in the grace and knowledge of God, and going on from one state of glory to another.

The believer that is a "partaker of the divine nature" has come into a relationship where God imparts His divine mind for the comprehension of His love and of the fellowship of His Son. We are only powerful as we know that source, we are only strong as we behold who we are in Christ and all the wonderful things and graces of the Spirit.

Scripture Of The Day - Pursuing Unbroken Communion

Revelation 4:1 - "After this, I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, "Come up here, and I will show you..."

There is a constant and continual (unbroken) communion that we have been invited into. There is ascending and descending (John 1:51) always happening as we dwell with Him and allow a habitation of His Holy Spirit to be a river of life that flows to us and through us.

The indwelling of God with us is our unspeakable joy! One moment we find ourselves at His feet in humble adoration and the next we are gazing into His eyes with an awe that causes everything to stand still.

The place of habitation with God is never boring but always wondrous. It is a holy place of great power and authority and a humble place of comfort and rest.

Scripture Of The Day - Moving Out Of Transition

Isaiah 40:31, "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

Many people have been in transition; they have been healing and they have been birthing. Many Believers are going to walk into the long-awaited inheritance of things that the Lord promised them – things that belong to them but they've been unable to obtain.

Even in the place of rest, refreshing, and refueling, the Lord is doing more in you to bring you into one of the greatest seasons of your life. He is bringing you into a place of greater freedom, liberty, strength, and wholeness in Him. He Is bringing renewed strength.

Where things have been heavy and you haven't been able to go further or see straight, suddenly the Lord will come like a mighty wind and empower you to go further than you have ever been.

Scripture Of The Day - Called To A Higher Place

2 Corinthians 13:14, "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen."

God calls us to a higher place in His Spirit where we can walk with Him and be conduits of His glory in the earth. He is not looking for perfect vessels but ones that are surrendered, filled with His Spirit, and will follow Him where He leads.

God is always wanting to pour more of His Spirit and presence into us. One of the most important things we can learn is "how to receive from God." If we don't learn how to receive then we have nothing to give. It is out of His fullness that we've received and continue to receive out of genuine communion with Him.

If you desire to pour into someone's life you must first allow God to pour into you.

Scripture of The Day - Understanding Our Motive

Luke 11:38 - "When the Pharisee saw it, he was surprised that He had not first ceremonially washed before the meal."

If we are still "doing" acts of holiness to get God to move in our lives, then we are still operating under a "law" mentally that is not faith (Galatians 3:12).

The legalist thinks, 'I can GET God to heal me by confessing "by His stripes I am healed.'" The person who understands God's grace will not confess God's word with the motive of trying to GET God to heal him but will confess "By His stripes I am healed" because he really believes it has already been done at Jesus' finished work at the cross.

If the motive for our actions is to be accepted by God, that's legalism. If we live wholly out of faith and gratefulness for what Christ has already done, that's grace. Grow in Grace!

Scripture Of The Day

This verse, IMHO, symbolizes the Jews's Messiah. The 10 men could symbolize both the Apostles and all Jews and Gentile followers of Christ the Messiah. The nations could symbolize the Nations of Judah and Israel and Gentiles
Some propose that it is anyone that is a Jew, but in Christianity, this can only be if they are of the faith that is of Jesus the Christ, whom is the true Jew.

Zech 8:23 Thus says Yahweh of Hosts "In those days, ten men will take hold, out of all the languages of the nations, they will take hold of the skirt of Him who is a Jew, saying, 'We will go with Thee, for we have heard that Elohim is with Thee.'"
Jhn 1:41 He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which is translated, the Christ).

Pulpit Commentary
Verse 23. - Ten men. The number ten is used for a large indefinite number (comp. Genesis 31:7; Leviticus 26:26; 1 Samuel 1:8). Out of all languages (the languages) of the nations. The diversity of languages shall not hinder the unity in the faith (comp. Isaiah 66:18; Revelation 5:9; Revelation 7:9). Shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew. Taking hold of the skirt implies a desire to share the privileges, and to be united in fellowship with (comp. Isaiah 4:1; Haggai 2:12).

St. Cyril considers the idea to be that the heathen shall cling to the Jews like children holding their fathers' dress for support and guidance.
In "the man that is a Jew" St. Jerome discerns the Messiah. We will go with you.

The picture presented to the mind by this verse is of a Jew journeying to Jerusalem from some distant country to keep a solemn festival, and a number of Gentiles clinging round him, asking permission to accompany him on his journey, because they have learned how good the Lord has been to his countrymen. But the ideal intended is much more than this. Salvation, indeed, is of the Jews; it began to be announced at Jerusalem; it was preached by the Jewish apostles; its founder was of the seed of David. But the true Israelites are not merely those who are of the natural posterity of Abraham, but all true Christians united under Christ, the Head.
To their number all who would be saved must be joined (comp. Romans 4:11; Galatians 3:7, 29; Galatians 4:26, etc.).

Benson Commentary
Zechariah 8:23. In those days ten men — That is, many men, a definite number being put for an indefinite. Out of all languages of the nations — From many different and remote countries, no nation being any longer excluded; shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew — Christians are sometimes called by the name of Jews, as being confessors of the true religion, and those to whom the promises, made to the fathers of the Jewish nation, chiefly belong. In this sense especially the word is here to be taken. To take hold of another is a gesture of entreating his friendly assistance: see the notes on Isaiah 3:6; Isaiah 4:1. The meaning of the passage, therefore, is, that the heathen should apply themselves to the Christians, particularly to Christian pastors and ministers, for instruction, in order to qualify themselves for admittance into the churc

So the other disciples kept telling him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the marks of the nails, and put my finger into the nail prints, and put my hand into His side, I will never believe.” Eight days later His disciples were again inside the house, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, though the doors had been barred, and stood among them and said, “Peace to you.” Then He said to Thomas, “Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and put out your hand and place it in My side. Do not be unbelieving, but [stop doubting and] believe.” Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, do you now believe? Blessed [happy, spiritually secure, and favored by God] are they who did not see [Me] and yet believed [in Me].”
John 20:25‭-‬27‭, ‬29 AMP

Confession:
I am not a doubter; I believe. I believe the Word of God says despite of what I can see, hear or feel.

Scripture Of The Day - Understanding The Power

John 6:63 - "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh gains nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life."

The Word of God and its power to heal your body is more than just good information. It actually has LIFE in it! Jesus said so in John 6:63. That's because the Word is like a seed. Hebrews 4:12 (Amp) says it is "alive and full of power -- making it active, operative, energizing and effective..."

It actually carries within it the power to fulfill itself. When you planted the Word about the new birth in your heart, then believed and acted on it, that Word released within you the power to be born again.

By the same token, when you plant the Word about healing in your heart, believe and act on it, that Word will release God's healing power in you. Speak its life-giving force aloud over your body in faith...and receive your healing! Receive His LIFE!

Great scripture and truth!

God's word is truly an active and powerful thing!

Scripture Of The Day - UPHELD BY HIS WORD

"Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;" - Hebrews 10:23

There is supernatural power released in the Word of God through declaration.
Jesus said (Mark 11:23) in the letter to the Hebrews (Hebrews 10:23) that we are encouraged to hold fast our confession. Once we have released our faith in the command of faith or the prayer of faith, we must continue to believe God is working regardless of any visible change.

As the Spirit unveils to us our participation in Christ, that ability is imparted to us.

"Seeing that it will not be impossible with God to fulfill His every declaration." - Luke 1:37

To translate this verse even more literally: No "Rhema" from God shall be void of "dunamis." In other words, when God speaks, His Word carries supernatural power. When we affirm out loud and meditate on the Word concerning our authority, the Holy Spirit writes His laws on the tablets of our hearts. As we endure as good soldiers, we hold fast to the Word until it is manifested in the seen realm. The Words of Jesus, which were given to Him by His Father, upholds all things.

"And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power." - Hebrews 1:3
