Scripture of The Day - Praying The Psalms - October 29, 2020

I commit my way to the Lord, trust in Him, and delight myself in Him to bring forth His righteousness through me in Christ Jesus. (Psalm 37:4-6)

I put my hope in the Lord and enjoy my inheritance in Christ Jesus. (Psalm 37:9)

As I embrace God's purpose for my life, he makes certain of my steps. (Psalm 37:23)

I consider myself dead to sin and abide in Christ Jesus forever. (Psalm 37:27)

The Lord is my strength and delivers me in times of trouble as I take refuge and embrace the abundant life in Him. (Psalm 37:19,40)

I lift up my hands and bless the Lord who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 134:1-3)

Your name, O LORD, is everlasting, Your remembrance, O LORD, throughout all generations, as merciful and compassionate to those who trust in You. (Psalm 135:13,14)

Great is the glory of the Lord, for You have exalted Your Name and your word above all. (Psalm 138:2,8)

Scripture Of The Day - Exercising Your Faith

Hebrews 11:1-3 - "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the men of old gained approval. By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen."

Your persistence to stand in faith and release the prophetic decrees of Heaven is far more powerful than you realize. Your faith is what conquers the kingdoms of this earth (the enemy); your faith is what pulls the promises and solutions of God into reality. Your faith is what releases the armies of Heaven into battle array—they do the fighting, and you go down in the history books of eternity as a mighty warrior, all because you stood your ground. Faith raises the dead; faith interjects the natural realm and commands it to bow at the name of Jesus. Faith is a defiant act. But it is what brings Heaven's promises into the earth.

What promises have you let go of that God is reminding you to pick up again and stand in defiant, bold, resilient faith with? Start striking the ground again (2 Kings 13:14-19). Remind yourself what God has spoken, what promises He has given you personally, and with regard to your calling in Christ—and begin waging war with your prophetic decrees again.

Scripture Of The Day - I Believe I Receive

Mark 11:23,24 - "...shall not doubt in his heart but shall BELIEVE THAT WHAT HE SAYS shall be done, WHATSOEVER HE SAYS SHALL BE DONE unto him. Therefore I say unto you, whatever things you desire, when you pray, BELIEVE THAT YOU RECEIVE them, and you shall have them."

Believing is an action word. Just before Jesus told us in Mark 11:24 to believe that we receive, He told us in verse 23 that we "we shall have whatever we say." Put those two together and you'll see what a powerful thing it is when you actually say the phrase, "I believe I receive."

Something happens in your spirit when you say those words. When you constantly say with your mouth, "I believe I receive my healing," or "I believe I receive my financial needs met," and then quote the scriptures that back those things, faith is released to bring power to bear in the areas of those needs.

When everything looks the worst, we say it the loudest, I BELIEVE I RECEIVE!

Scripture Of The Day - Walking In Our True Identity

John 14:30 - ".......for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me."

Pauperhood is relegated to the children of a lesser god. It is the condition of slaves who have yet to discover their freedom on the other side of the river of baptism and find themselves still captured by the dark prince of torture and torment. He is the one who assigns them to a life of poverty, pain, and depression through a diabolical play of illusion. He hopes to conceal their true identity forever.

This evil prince feeds his captives the poisonous rations of religion, convincing them they will fill their soul's hunger for righteousness. These slaves, blindfolded by their sin, think that they are laboring for their own freedom and work to pave their way out of prison with bricks built from the miry clay of self-righteousness. Yet, unknowingly, brick by brick, they are erecting their own chambers of death. Worse yet, they birth children into the same darkness, ultimately creating legacies of bondage with mind-sets of hopelessness.

Scripture Of The Day - Understanding Our Oneness

1 John 2:27 - "As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you,"

According to the scriptures, before you were born again, you were without the Anointed One (Jesus). If you were without the Anointed One you were also without the anointing.

But now, since you are one with Christ, you are in the anointing of Jesus. The anointing is available to you in every situation you face to destroy every yoke of bondage. The anointing of God is God on flesh doing those things only God can do.

So, whatever you are facing today, begin factoring in the anointing in your life. If a yoke is holding you back, then rejoice, because the anointing will destroy it!

Scripture Of The Day - Understanding My Potential

Genesis 1:26 - "Then God said, 'Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.'"

God created you and commanded you to dominate the earth. God wouldn't have made that demand if you couldn't do it.

You have the potential to dominate the earth because God placed within every human being the ability to dominate the planet.

You dare not complain when you are dominated by the earth because God has placed within you the capacity to do whatever He asks. He did not give you the responsibility without also giving you the ability. He created you with the ability to dominate the earth.

Scripture Of The Day - Burning For Him

"For our God is a consuming fire." - Hebrews 12:29

God's voice dwells in the midst of the fire! Fire consumes the sacrifice, and in Romans 12:1-2 we are told to surrender our bodies and renew our minds. As we lay our flesh upon His altar, we are consumed!

Mark 9:49 - "For everyone will be salted with fire."

We are called to burn for Him and be voices of awakening. The Father desires to set regions ablaze with holy fire, but it will take surrendered ones who have been in His presence and are burning. It will take those who fully yield and obey to give birth to Heaven's agenda for this hour.

We must advance with our spiritual eyes open and carry a strong spirit of faith and authority. Bind up all false spirits and shake off their attacks. We are called to burn for Him! We are called to fuel the fires of revival and advance forward. We are called to be Heat Seekers!

Scripture Of The Day - Making Known The Mystery

"Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him." - Mark 11:23

As you battle against an ungodly problem (ungodly situations could be a lingering sickness, infirmity, sin, fear, doubt, unbelief, anger, poverty, disunity, etc. anything in your life that is contrary to the Word of God) in your life, why not get really involved and roar at it?

Get emotionally passionate! Get loud! Get intense! Get involved! Even get angry! And since it is the Lord of hosts joining with you in doing the battle, you might just as well see this with the eyes of your heart. It is Almighty God roaring at this problem, and commanding it to be gone NOW! See Jesus in you, as the Lion of Judah, and roaring at the problem, commanding it to be gone now!

"To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." - Colossians 1:27

Scripture Of The Day - The Stone Was Moved

James 4:4 -- "You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God."

When you fall out of love with God you have to find movies, you have to find sports, you have to find other worldly things.

James calls it spiritual adultery to sleep with these things all week because there is no true intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

The very point of the gospel is that you are not living anymore. It's not just saying a prayer -- it's dying. The stone was moved for the Church to come in and die.

Scripture Of The Day - Drawing Souls Into The Kingdom

James 3:17 - "But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy."

As we speak the tender mercies of the Word over a problem, our faith begins to rise up within us. We then release words of faith and plant seeds of power. These seeds then begin to grow up and become greater than the problems.

They begin to bear fruit -- fruit of deliverance, healing, miracles, love, joy, and peace. Souls are drawn into the Kingdom as Jesus is lifted up by the words of our mouth.

James 3:17 says that the Word is without hypocrisy. That means when we call things that be not as though they were, we're not lying or being hypocrites. We are not speaking lies or deceptions. We are speaking seeds of faith -- the seeds that start the process of God's operations in our lives will change our entire surroundings.

Scripture Of The Day - We Are Never Satisfied

Philippians 3:16 - "I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

Paul spoke about the desire to attain. There is no standing still. We are renewed by the Spirit. We never get into a new place until we come out of the old one (Genesis 12:1-4).

We must see revelation of God's purpose for our life and learn about who we are in Christ and our right standing with God. We can never be satisfied to stay where we are spiritually, for the truth continues to enlighten us.

We must move on, or we will perish. We must be obedient to the Holy Spirit who guides us.

Scripture Of The Day - Believe That You Receive

Hebrews 4:16 - "So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most."

When we sin, we don't need to punish ourselves, because Jesus already took our punishment and He now offers us His mercy. He is extending his mercy to you right now, but you must believe it and receive it in order for it to benefit you.

Don't turn away because you know you don't deserve it. Receive it, repenting toward heaven, and let it make you fall more in love with Jesus than ever before. Our sin will never exceed God's mercy because where sin abounds, grace abounds much more (Romans 5:20).

Affirmation:
Christ and I are one. I can never be separated from Christ, from whom comes all my supply -- all the power, wisdom, prosperity and health. As He is so am I in this world!

Scripture Of The Day - The Spirit Of Wisdom And Revelation

Isaiah 54:2 - “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your ropes and strengthen your stakes."

When you don't think there is more to where you currently are in God's purpose for your life, you become limited. You think this right here -- all I see -- is it. This type of thinking keeps you from exploring and discovering. It keeps you from stretching yourself and dreaming about other possibilities.

If you want to meet God's calling in Christ on your life, you're going to have to believe there is more than what meets the eyes. You begin to choose to live like there is more by expecting more and praying for more wisdom and revelation (Ephesians 1:17,18).

Kingdom destiny followers know that more is beyond, and they commit to scaling barriers or other walls put up by their minds -- or by others.

Scripture Of The Day - Seeing Through Jesus' Eyes

Hebrews 13:5 - "He has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'”

When you fall don't waste your time trying to figure everything out. Your understanding will always be twisted when you are depressed and you will never see truth from that place.

Depression is the deception that comes from seeing the world from your perspective. Truth comes from seeing the world through Jesus' eyes where He sits at the right hand of the Father. Those who abide in His presence will say "the whole earth is filled with His glory."

When you fall short of the Lord's grace and sin entangles you, it is hard for you to come to Him. You must learn to always run to the Lord at such times, not away from Him.

You repent towards heaven - you thank God for his forgiveness and for His guidance in showing you how to repent. You must not only seek His presence, but you must abide in His presence continually.

Scripture Of The Day - Tuning-In To God's Voice

Jesus said, "Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear" (Mark 4:9).

He also said that His sheep hear His voice (John 10:27). Not hearing the Father speak, not understanding the voice of the Holy Spirit, is the root of many of life's problems. If we would only linger a little longer in His voice, then perhaps we would live great lives of blessing and purpose that yields fruit for the Kingdom instead of frustration.

REMOVING THE BLOCKAGES -- WHAT KEEPS YOU FROM HEARING?

There are blockages that keep us from hearing. Perhaps you have fears. Perhaps you don't believe that God will speak to you. Maybe you are convinced that hearing God is not for today. Maybe you believe that God speaks to others but not to you. Whatever the blockage is, it needs to be removed.

The grace of God is such that He wants you to hear His voice more than you even want to listen. Romans 5:8 says, "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." He came for us. He saw us in our condition of deafness and blindness and sent His own Son in the earth to help us to see and hear again.

He begins to remove the blockages even before we desire for them to be removed. That is grace.

God who created the heavens and the earth wants to speak to us.
In His voice there is creative power. When He spoke through Ezekiel an entire valley of dry bones rose back to life and formed a mighty army. That is the power of hearing. When you hear and you speak what God says, then He does great things

UNPLUG YOUR SPIRITUAL EARS!

Today, believe the Lord to unplug your spiritual ears and to tune you into the frequency of Heaven's voice. Begin to walk with Him and talk with Him and hear Him call you His own.
The grace of God is such that He always speaks to the hungry. He always opens ears to hear.
So just thank Him because your breakthrough is coming.

Scripture Of The Day - Soldiers Of The Cross

Luke 9:23 - "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me."

Spiritual storms, winds, and billows will blow into our lives, pulling us this way and that. Sometimes, in the face of winds and danger, we know there is a place of safety in God, but still we don't fly to that safe place in Him. Instead, we fly away, resisting the wisdom that tells us to fly to Him.

Why do we all seem to do this?

Because we all know in our spirits what flying toward Him will mean. We know it will require first going to the Cross.

Peace, safety, comfort, rest are found in God, but testing and discomfort are also woven into His design. Therefore, we should turn around and start running toward what is uncomfortable, because that is exactly where we are going to find Him. We will find our rest only after we choose to nest on a crossbeam.

David knew this. In Psalm 84, he tells us to fly to that place in God – the secret place, often the place of our greatest testing, known only to God and us. By abiding in this place, we build a strong history with God. Every trial and storm He brings us through becomes a part of the nest. Day by day, He lines our nest with His faithfulness, His goodness, His mercy, and His comfort. We rest secure in His strong tower, built to last.

Scripture Of The Day - Hope Of Heaven

Your longing for heaven is good because it is an extension of your yearning for Jesus. Many Christians have misunderstood this word hope, believing that it denotes wishful thinking. Nothing could be farther from the truth!

The phrase “hope of heaven” highlights the benefits you can enjoy even while remaining on earth – as you overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. This hope keeps you spiritually alive during dark times of adversity; it brightens your path and heightens your awareness of His Presence.

Romans 15:13 – “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”

Scripture of The Day - FULFILLING HIS WILL

"I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as My prophet to the nations." - Jeremiah 1:5

God does not place a desire in you to fulfill His will so that you can simply put it aside out of concern that you are incapable in the eyes of others. He places that burning desire there so that nothing except doing exactly what He has asked you to do will satisfy your spirit. You long to please Him and Him alone. Because of this, He makes all things possible even when they seem impossible.

Ready yourself in your spirit and be prepared in the natural to receive all that the Lord has in store for you!

Scripture Of The Day - THE NOW ACTIVATION OF FAITH

Luke 8:47 is the story of the woman who had an issue of blood who desperately pressed through the crowd to lay hold of the hem of Jesus' garment: "Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at His feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched Him and how she had been instantly healed."

When she reached out and touched Him, full of faith and expectation, Jesus stopped and said, "Who touched Me? His disciples replied, "Lord, many are touching you...we are in a crowd!" But Jesus said, "No, someone purposely touched Me because I felt virtue/power go out of Me." (See verse 45-46). And the woman was immediately made whole.

GOD IS WAITING ON US TO SET THE TIME

Most of the time when Jesus was healing the crowds of people He was doing that which He saw the Father doing. But in this instance it wasn't Jesus that "set the time" for this woman's miracle, but rather the woman "set the time" through her faith, desperation and determination.

Many times when we are believing for a miracle we may feel we have positioned ourselves and we are waiting on God, when in fact, God is waiting on us to activate our faith to "set the time" for the release of the supernatural turnaround.

In the words of John G. Lake, "If the Spirit doesn't move me, then I move the Spirit!"
Now is the time for us to "set the time" and put a demand on the anointing of God to release miracles of provision, turnaround and healing. Pull your future miracle into the NOW by activating your faith and pressing into His presence as never before. Remember, every day is Jubilee when you are in Christ!
