Reportedly, a new documentary features McCorvey’s “deathbed confession”—she wasn’t really a pro-life activist. It’s claimed she was paid to play the part.

It's very disturbing that supposed Christians would lavish the woman with hundreds of thousands of dollars, whether or not to intentionally get her to lie.

She's [late] trash. In her recent comments, she said a woman getting an abortion is "no skin off her ***". Well, it is skin, and more than just skin, off of a baby's behind, and that's the point that she vulgarly ignores.

She didn't get pregnant by being virtuous. She didn't play the tool in RvW for free. She has always been a mercenary.

In her recent interview, she might as well have been telling her adult child, "I regret not succeeding in killing you when you were a baby."

It's sad to see pro-lifers who knew here still insist she was a good person, even after she exposed herself as a fraud.

Right. It really doesn't matter if she was sincere or not. It has nothing to do with the issue of abortion. If she was paid off to pose as something she was not, shame on those who paid her. But it makes no difference to the issue.

hard to know what the truth is here - but you are right - now matter what anyone believes God says abortion is murder

I don't think she was paid to lie, specifically. I don't think anyone walked up to her and said, "If you say you're pro-life, we'll give you money." They only conscience liar in this story is McCorvey herself. I think pro-lifers paid her expenses and fees to speak on the issue. Once her speaking career was over, because of her health, there was no more money, and she fessed up to her scam.

On the other hand, how bloody stupid would her pro-life associates have to be believe a lying, baby-killing, lesbian, foul-mouthed, cohabitating, ugly... who didn't do anything for the cause unless she was getting money.
