So it looks like this country supports assisted death and believes it's free choice, yet does not believe its someone's free choice if they want to have a bit of weed in peace.

It makes no logical sense. Death is ok but smoking a cone of weed is not.

Euthanasia and legalise cannabis votes.
Hey man
Let's share a cyber joint

I got no idea if there is medicinal here. I don't use cannabis anymore, but I got nothing against it. As long as people are not interfering in my life why should I care if someone wants to have a cone in peace.

Because weed takers are just wicked sinners bound for Hell.
There is a problem with overcrowding in Hell now. What with, gays, Catholic Pope fans, the non saved , atheists, Muslims, Buddhists, Mormons, the list goes on ....

I think Hell is undergoing refurbishment and extensions. To allow for extra numbers.
The Lake of Fire needs an upgrade for heating too.

Once we stop pretending we are fully sane, mature and perfect, our life gets easier.
We can err. We can stuff up. We can say stupid things that make us lose all credibility.
People start to realise that I only say intelligent things occasionally or by accident. They come to see that Humble Soul is actually quite arrogant sometimes. Then they are surprised that he can suddenly be humble, when he's not even trying.
We are dynamic. We are complex. We are more than what our worst critic thinks we are. He/she may have made an impressive critique that impresses others. But they are never 100% accurate. I can analyse you and think I have you in a nutshell. But I would be wrong. You are more than you or anybody else thinks you are.
This "child of God" label is just a hint of who we really are. People die in life as if their passing is inconsequential. Millions dies in world war 1. But each of those deaths has huge value and meaning. There is a caring God and I would like to think he cares for every single human being as if they were the most special. I am special. You are special. My dog is special. Life is precious and death is not the end. Maybe it's just the beginning of our real life. And this is just a dress rehearsal.

Well, I've always heard that hell is in the center of the earth. So I guess that could explain all of the increased volcanic and seismic activity we have had of late. These are the last days of having been in collection mode on planet earth. Hell is probably bursting at the seams and moving the substrata and lava outwards and upwards. Maybe the addition of more and more souls to hell over time is increasing the heat temps in hell also?

I'm kind of chilly sitting here this morning. I like that.

One of my best posts, imho. (In my humble opinion)

It takes courage to live. And when we are forced to dig deep to find that courage, maybe it's Jesus in disguise. ( not in disguise to prayerful Christians of course)
Sometimes people commit suicide because the challenge is too great. Whether it is real or imagined.
Courage and integrity are values I hold in high esteem. Decent people have them. But I haven't always been decent. I've been weak and dishonest. Avoidant and telling lies to myself. Telling myself " oh they deserved it" or " it was just a bit of fun. I was young."
It is true I have used humour as a smokescreen. I'm uptight and my thinking is often anxiety prone. Some of my humour is useful. But a lot of it is too ease my worried mind. And to appease others believe it or not.
Wouldn't it be nice if Humble could show guts and fortitude from now on. That he could become even half as decent as his father. The benchmark.

That is very honest and brave. I found it beautiful. You are a string man Humble and with Christ we can do anything. Thanks for the reminder.
