I'am Danny Haszard from Bangor Maine usa.Former member of the Jehovah's witnesses.Exited out 1-5-92 was in for 33 years.I was 3rd generation,so they still are holding most of my family hostage.The Watchtower swindled most of my family assets,left me desitute at first but i have recovered much.

The worst thing that high demand destructive Bible based cults do to their victims is they 'soul rape' you so you become angry at God.

It's been called."surrogate displacement" rage.You become 'mad at the world' and it takes a long time to recover,

God is good and gracious and i am stronger for it.I have a counter-cult home page please visit and browse.I am determined to provide education and support to warn others of these,'wolves in sheep's clothing'.

Thanks for posting Haszard, the Christian boards seem to have a lot to say about the mormons but have very little to say about the Jehovah witnesses. I am just as interested in their beliefs as I am the mormons as we have the jw's come to our doors a lot in the neck of the woods where I live.
 
If Danny was a JW at all (which I doubt) I think it would be very interesting for him or better yet post why he was removed from the congregation. (Speaking of child molesters......)
Looking at his picture, it looks as if he needs an introduction to some soap and hot water.
Like some of the ones who are removed for non-repentive acts, they become very angry at Gods visible organization and want to strike out.
Glancing at this poor creatures web site, it is obvious he has became a devout slanderer and now his only goal in life is to tear down what he cannot accept and be a part of. Sounds just like what the Barbarians did to Rome.
This person is having his reward and even he knows that he will never be a part of the Kingdom of God.
So sad.
 
I think you owe Danny a major apology. Whether or not you disagree with him, you will not be allowed to call people "poor creature," hint at child molestation, ridicule them, or determining the salvation of others.

I am amazed this lasted as long as it did.

When this man does what he does, I owe him nothing. Why don't you ask him why he was removed from the JWs if he was ever in there at all.
I KNOW he is a slanderer. Look at his web site.

'lo, Danny. You look like any other typical Vietnam Vet who wandered out of the Maine woods on a dare. I looked about like that when I chose to leave the service after returning from Vietnam, until the Lord prompted me to shave it all off and I got saved. But if a headahar floats your boat, go for it; I'm with you in spirit.

Your "sensible suggestions" make a lot of (common) sense to me.

I've been on that bridge over Augusta. Walked halfway across it on Labor Day weekend, 2002. I drove on up to the Viking excavation at l'Anse aux Meadows, at the northern tip of Newfoundland. Had a time catching that ferry from Sydney, though. I bought a ticket over the net, showed up at the exact time it was casting off, and no one had made my reservation. They squeezed my car in and shut the gate... sorta like squeezing a closet door shut on a closet full of stuff. On the return trip, I missed the boat altogether, because I didn't take into account the 30-minute time zone advance in Newfoundland. Oh, well... I had slept in worse places than a ferry parking lot before. Interesting trip, though, especially Gros Morne National Park.

I must mention that Maine highways leave something to be desired. Somewhere west of Calais, I was doing about 60 in a driving rainstorm. Suddenly the road disappeared from under me, and I flew more than a few feet down into a roadway excavation. Somehow I came up the other side of the embankment without losing control of the vehicle. Even more remarkable was the fact that, when I came up on the other side, I was on the highway and not out in the woods somewhere. After all, there's lots of woods to get lost in down East.

I am new here, and was checking out the New Member Forum to see what I've gotten into. There are quite a few people here that are a bit misdirected, and I'm not sure if the Lord will allow me to stay here for long. Since I'm here now, I just wanted to encourage you. You have come out of a most deceptive cult, and I can't imagine how hard it must have been, and is, for you. I also was once caught up in a cult called The Way International, and I know it takes a long time to "unlearn" the deceptive teachings. Please know that God can, and does bring good out of bad. Pray for guidance, wisdom, and assurance. Be assured that I will be praying with you.

Hey that is great news, that you got out of the JWs. I will be praying for you and your family. I was also in a cult for a very short time, and got out. So I know the freeing feeling you get when you realize that trap you are in, and get out of it. Great news !!!

I do not know what to say, you where quite rudes with this guy. You actually show why people need to leave these groups, so much hate.

Well it seems to me Danny that you got out of something that has put a burden on your life to help others like yourself.

You can worn ppl and even JW's of what they are doing to themselves, but my experience has been they have been so brain washed..unless a house falls on their heard... or even worse.. something horrible happens to them while being in the JW's they will just keep on lying to themselves and others.

Anyone who has talked to a JW can see that they are full of lies that they have been learned from all the bible studies they go to. Sure they can quote bible verses..but only the ones they have been taught to learn. I was brought up in the JW's and so was my brothers..I stepped out my brothers stayed..one is dead from being drunk and drownded in a swimming pool..the other is still in the JW system...and so is one of his children.
