Everything. I think man does have the power to be able to create stuff.
To create is to make something out of nothing. Absolutely nothing. How is man able to do that? Anything man makes is developed based off of something else, using existing materials.

That's part of the highly debatable part. I...do not have all the answers yet, but have had sneaking suspicions for a long time that man is capable of much more than he realizes that He is.

Think one of us should start another thread for this?

Yes, absolutely. Something out of nothing. Let us not forget that we are in Christ, and He is in us, so...anything is possible. When the Spirit of the Lord makes a move...it happens, that's all there is to it.

There's a lot of examples in scripture of this. Even before Jesus, and Pentecost the Holy Spirit was here but not on a wide scale, to a select few. And the end times are said to be...will put the OT to shame so to speak in the amount and greatness of miracles done on earth. Jesus is coming for His Bride, and she will be pure, she will be being led of the Spirit when He comes.

As far as I can tell this is catching on. People going deeper into the Lord like never before. Being led of the Spirit is no longer just a catch phrase, lol.

I wouldn't expect God to do some big mighty miracle for me because I am largely one man and I think He would do the real big stuff in front of crowds to have a mass conversion of souls!

But just little stuff for me, lol. He reset my dislocated hip bone one time. Another time he delivered to me 2 lbs of gourmet coffee because I was out. I thought about praying for some but didn't because I thought about, He already knows what we need so no need to pray for coffee, lol. More coffee knocked on my door within 30 minutes, lol! That was God and a miracle but real small scale. It was great coffee too!

Actually to be a hundred percent honest with you, I can see both sides of this argument.

Nope, not even close. Does an architect erect a skyscraper? Does a carpenter draw up blueprints?
I think "not even close" is a bit much.
If you want to differentiate between "create" and "made" and use them as some linchpin of an argument... that's up to you. I am not stuck on such semantics....I just know that God "created" everything and in our culture.... people still "create" things.
Another word that I will not spend pages in debate over...."kind".

The purpose is to differentiate what God can do and what men can do. Men cannot create anything, as they are unable to make something out of nothing. God is able to create because He is all powerful.

And, yes, God is able to make something else out of what He has already created.
God is "able" to do anything...

Our minds have creative power. We can not create material substance ex nihilo, out of nothing.
Which is one of the biggest downfalls of evolution..
Even though Christians will throw God into it and then morph to evolution after God has created all things, atheists are devoid of any basis... They say that there was nothing and everything came out of it....

It's not really out of nothing. On the quantum level, we are all connected, they proved this by experiments. There is a field of energy encompassing everything in the universe. It is the Kingdom of God. It is in you, beside you, all around you, and everywhere. The kingdom of God is spread out over the entire earth but man can not see it.

They now know that space is not empty. It is no vacuum in space. They know this now. They have different names for it, some call it the matrix, some the field, and others I can't remember but they're all talking about the same thing.

Space is very, very close to a perfect vacuum. The density of material is incredibly slight. Findings and reporting on them fail to put this into perspective and are thus confusing.

What really intrigues me is the electric Universe; as a theory it explains what we see far better than any currently accepted model and the results are reproducible in a lab, which is not the case for anything else.

Ask an architect to do the construction on the 100th floor required by the blueprints he drew up and you will quickly find this is NOT a matter of semantics.

You do see that you are arguing over the definition of two words... "create" and "make"...

In our culture... they are interchangeable.... I am sure you will have had, or will have, a child that will "create" a fort out of cushions from your sofa... Or, "create" a snowman. "create" a painting....

Yes, God was the only one who can make something from nothing... If you want to hold to that... no problem. That, is creating in it's purest form....

You do realize none of Scripture was written in English, right?
The different concepts here aren't trivial, the way they become in English.
