Why or why not? The reason that I love children so much is basically because I never really grew up one hundred percent myself and I still love using my imagination. :) So yeah, I really can't wait to have kids of my own someday. :yes

Yes, but I can never eat a whole one.

Ones own children are great fun, other peoples, depends how well behaved they are and whether they get on with yours.

They are a never ending source of joy, worry, companionship, entertainment, problems, expence and wonder.

Children are just little people who haven't fully matured.

Subject to being spoiled rotten, whiney, and disobedient when poorly parented...

But also fun and playful and brutally honest.
I love playing "touch" with them. A game where you lightly touch their shoulder (no poking hard) when they least expect it and say "You're it".
And that's the nature of the game...it's not tag. It's not poke...no running. It's a game of subtlety and deception and diversion. Of course it can be silly when the two of you are sitting side by side...

My mother hates it when my son and I play it and she is around.
SUCKS TO BE HER!

That reminds me of when I was little. I used to love blowing bubbles (I still do sometimes :)) outside and one time there was a bubble that wouldn't pop so we called it the magic bubble. Then as soon as I got old enough to sit in the front seat my brother would poke me and blame it on the ghost of the magic bubble and eventually it just became the magic bubble. Oddly enough I believed him. :lolIt's funny how gullible I was back then.

My wife and I have five sons and one daughter. They are all grown now. But we have four grandsons and one granddaughter so far.
Two grandsons and their mom and dad live with us at the moment. They are about to build a house on our farm. They sold their house and moved in to get the ball rolling.
I am having a blast with the grandchildren.
Yes, we love children.

Sounds like a wonderful time.
I'm wishing for grandkids but first my son would need to start dating...and with a tattoo of a sloth on his arm that probably ain't happening any time soon.

I've always heard that some parents call their children slow,.. I just never guessed that this is what they meant. :lol

He has a facination with this critter. He wants to go to the sloth habitat to see them in Costa Rica. So he got a tattoo.

I tried to explain to him that the tattoo wasn't a good idea...but he believes that he knows better.
He is actually a fun person to be around...but what woman in her right mind would look at him twice?

Idk, it's just a tattoo. :shrugAnd it's not like God forbids it anymore. Maybe he can use his tattoo to woo her a little bit with this song. :lol

I had three of my own and two grandchildren. All are adults now. I also taught grade school once and did Sunday school as well. Been around kids a lot so really enjoyed it and watching them (in school and church) learn and catch on. But sometimes now that I am old I gotta admit when some of them (undisciplined) and I share the same space it bothers me because they can be very intrusive and
noisy when they run around. Maybe you have noticed. I still think many kids need to learn better behavior. Kids are kids..but wild, inconsiderate, disrepectful, and intrusive is not good. They need to be taught manners. But how many adults are now living undisciplined and even maybe lives of addiction (drugs, booze, pills, or food ) because they never were guided or given good boundaries and habits. So having been over indulged they become very self indulgent. And many think that is okay. I find it a bit scary. All of those "selfies." show it.

I think children are wonderful little creatures.
When they're asleep.

JK.
I had two.
Wonderful always.
No teenage problems.
We're still friends.

Maybe they don't really belong to me??
