Bingo... For people who are unsure, those tools cut threads...
The shafts are known as taps and they cut threads into holes so that you can screw a bolt into it.
The round ones are known as dies and they cut threads into shafts so that u can screw a nut onto it.
Im impressed you got that seeing engineering is a male dominated industry...
