It's not my fault. Adam said it was Eves fault and Eve said it was the serpent fault and the serpent, well, didn't blame no one. I guess serpent takes all responsibility then.
Serpent fault. Not really but anyhow today it's serpant fault.
Ask an opened ended question with no clear meaning to the question and you will be blaimed.
Sin is the fault of Eve, she took and ate of the fruit, but Adam as the head took responsibility.

He didn't take the responsibility. Remember, he tried to pass it on to Eve but God made him the head of the woman and therefore he was held responsible.

Satan is the culprit. He tempted Eve who tempted Adam according the version written by men. LOL
I am not sure the punishment fit the crime. You would agree with me if you had every been in labor. It really hurts. God is definitely showing favoritism here giving the hard part to Eve.
It was also Satan who seduced Cain. It was the first known case of sibling rivalry. But the scripture does not explain why God showed favoritism to one brother over the other because it a human trait. We romanticize that God loves everybody but that is not so.
I am Cain sometimes. When I feel rejected I go off on people. I am working on this. I threw a woman down the stairs once. Long story but at the time it seemed justified. 1970. I have come a long way since then thanks to Spirit.
I digress . . . all that matters is that if we repent and promise to sin no more and then we are forgiven. But this does not change the fact that childbirth hurts.

No more politics. My husband and I used to talk about politices every night so I miss it. But you never know who you might offend. Are you saying that Adam coerced Eve? If so, where is that found in Scripture?
I understand "to take responsibility" as accepting responsibility. I don't believe Adam did this. He tried to pass that responsibility (blame) to Eve when he said the woman gave it to him and he ate. He did not take responsibility but rather tried to blame someone else much like most of society today.
