I wanted to show you something that can be a revelation to someone with a sincere heart, who has not realized an unfortunate fact regarding their own personal (Christian) belief system.

Lets do some religious math.
It works out like this......

Question.....
What is your personal Savior ????
Lets find out, as i show you a few worldwide favorites that wont work out, in the end..

----------------------------

A person says......"we believe that salvation is the Cross, BUT.... that you can "fall away" and be lost.

A.) Your Personal savior is always what YOU BELIEVE KEEPS YOU SAVED. (what do you believe keeps you saved = Your Personal Savior).
So, in this case, the Savior to this person has become...>"not falling away".
So, where did the Cross go?

or,

A person says.....>"he who endures to the end, the same shall be (stay) saved".

A.) for this person, their Savior is "ENDURING to the end".
So, where did the Cross go?

or,

A person says.....> "As long as you hold unto your FAITH, you are still saved".

A.) for this person, holding unto their faith is their personal Savior.
So, where did the Cross go?

or,

A person says....> "As long as i KEEP ON working out my salvation with fear and trembling, i STAY saved.

A.) this person is trusting in their Christian Lifestyle as their personal Savior.
So, where did the Cross go?

or,

A person says...."As long as i dont apostatize or backslide, i STAY saved.

A.) This person is trusting in keeping themselves from apostatizing or backsliding = as their personal Savior.
So, where did the Cross go?

Now see how all that RELIGIOUS MATH works?
In all 5 cases the RELIGIOUS MATH seems good, but the end result is DEVOUT LEGALISM.
This is Christ rejection pretending its the Faith that God accepts.
Paul wrote the letter to the Galatians to expose it. "Are you so foolish having been saved by trusting in Christ alone, that you are now gone back into trusting in yourself, the keeping of Commandments and the law, to keep yourself saved........ you are FALLEN FROM GRACE".
The end result : is that all these types have "fallen from Grace".
See it?
The end result : is that all these people have replaced the CROSS with what they are to DO, as their particular heretical method to try keep themselves saved.
Don't be one of those.

Final answer, bottom line. ....

Philippians 1:6
Hebrews 12:2

There is no legalism when it comes to our faith that is Christ Jesus and His finished works on the cross. Christ, by that of God's grace, is our Christian belief system as we are indwelled with God's Holy Spirit as we are in Him and He in us. Anyone who falls away never heard His voice to begin with.

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

BTW, everyone one, let's not make this about OSAS vs OSNAS or this thread will be closed.

Hi again,
While I honestly believe you mean well, please honor our request and refrain from these types of controversial topics. This site has been there and done that, and honestly, we found those arguments breed contemptment within the community.

If we are going to divide, let us be divided by acts of ungodliness, like promoting sexual acts outside of marriage, or promoting theft, stealing, lying or infidelity etc. But if we claim to love God, then let us avoid needless argument over ideological ideas but instead, let us build one another up in a way that the world knows we are united in Christ as one.
