To complete the triplet we bring "The Jackson 5 - ABC (Salaam Remi Krunk-A-Delic Party Mix) [Audio HQ] HD" from the Motown Remixed album.

Posters here are welcome to respond with their own Triplets. The only criteria is that at one point in time, somewhere or other, they too had a earworm and just couldn't get a song outta their heads....

Thought One (2) :
No, let's not all quess, 'Sherry Lewis and Lambchip'
This is, 'The
Song that Never Ends.' This particular entry also qualifies as a, what was that guys name again? Oh, yeah. A "Nelson Mandela" Effect. More on that in a moment. In the meantime = get ready to play the whole thing through (in one sitting? Yeah, and more power to you for trying):

(10hours) Lamb chop song that never ends

Thought two (1):
The Mandela Effect :

Image: britannica.com
December 5th, 2013
Nelson Mandela died in prison, long before his loss on December 5th, 2013. Many people – perhaps thousands – seem to believe that. That’s where the name of this phenomenon – and my original Mandela Effect website – came from. See, I thought Nelson Mandela died in prison.
Nelson Mandela Died in Prison? – Mandela Effect

mandelaeffect.com/nelson-mandela-died-in-prison/

_______________________________________

What's 1 + 2?
For those of you who were able to stay with me for that (for my feeble attempt at continuity within a thread) - here's the story. The Original Lambchop and Sherry Lewis song, The Song that Never Ends is only believed to be that title. Go back and listen for youself. It is, "The Song that Does Not End..." --and not-- "The Song that Never Ends." Slight difference.

Track 7. 'When Love Comes to Town' Featuring Jonny Lang and Joss Stone

When Love Comes to Town featuring Jonny Lang and Joss Stone, in the above album you posted...
is a song written by U2 in the 80's especially for BB King.
BB King really liked it and said it was a very serious song for such a young person to have written. (Bono).

They had also written a song for Frank Sinatra that was perfectly suited for him (the whole idea) but which he refused to sing.

Here's When Love Comes to Town.
It's about Jesus and being saved and learning to love.

wondering I get the feeling you've done this before?
*smile*

I lvoe working with these guys. Not BB, no. He's with The Father now. I wouldn't dare to bother that one, but when I speak to artists and ask permissions they are all like, "What's that? You want to give me credit [attribution] for my work?!? Most ppl just take."

It does not take much to begin a conversation and get close to blanket permissions. Just a hint from your burdu-buddy to one who wonders. I likes.

Wiki loves love (or so they say) : When Love Comes to Town

quoting our BB (i too am a /bb, seriously) "... asked my baby for a nickle ... and she gave me a $20 dollar bill ..."

I have posted similar on this site before and am considering renewing my focus to include such things as:

Xian habits : breathe
Exerpt : Uncopyright
  • This entire blog, and all my ebooks including many of my other works, are uncopyrighted (since January 2008).
  • That means I’ve put them in the public domain, and released my copyright on all these works.
  • There is no need to email me for permission — use my content however you want! Email it, share it, reprint it with or without credit. Change it around, put in a bunch of swear words and attribute them to me. It’s OK.
  • Attribution is appreciated but not required.
  • I’d prefer people "pay it forward" but that would require work and this, my friend is freely given. That's the cost that I paid too.
Seldom only two (3) meanings, author and self-aggrandizing writer, so called, Your sparrow (UN-c, Released with a quip), "Why hold on to wiggly things when we can all share and eat them?" /burp Ooops, I meant, "chirp".

Thank you too much!
[*]Sparrow muses: Why do I lvoe you?

That's a very broad range question (not to be taken personally, of course). You may tender your answer musically. Better yet? Grab the reigns (rains) and let it fly. It's my show, it's your show, it's OUR show. Love is coming to town. You know His_Name and that is something to take Personally!

Some conditions (still) apply. A brief thought about the 'triplets' thing that occurred to me was - "If someday after this thread takes off and we have a dozen participants it will still be easy for an interjection to happen. The musical chair can pass around instead of us all bumping into each other. It's a vision thing. Can you see it? (I mean, do you feel me? /lol). For now, we're life and on the ... dead air time. Hurry back, now will ya?

Helpful Saul/Paul-like list:

  1. It is an 'Earthworm' (ewwww!) or an 'Ear-worm' (yea!) ?
  2. Triplets can be better than twins. StoveBolts can you hear me now, brother? Lvoe you! Alway.
Sparrow hands the microphone to wondering
  • "You're on the air..."

((( passing the time while wondering prepares the spin )))

Ring-ring-ring:
HELP-DESK : (sounding bored) : "H e l l o . . . "
thought bubble says . o O ((slow speech, Southern?))

IC : (incoming call) : "I had a burning desire to ask a question ..."
(the incoming caller is male and sounds a little out of breath)

Home Depot Retailer Help Desk : "Yes, sir. What is your question?"

IC : "Is last weeks One-Day-Only-Sale still going on today?"
IC : Huh? What was that? Speak up, please. I'm deaf in one ear and can't hear see outta the other...
IC : A joke, you say? No, no, no. Not a joke. I lost my sense of hearing humor in the war. Now, what about that sale?

Ring, ring, ring?!?

Woke up. Got outta bed. Dragged that phone across my head.
Found a way to trip-up down the stairs...
. . .
And L<o.0?>k-ing up, I noticed I was late...

Sir Paul and John before the yokes. Brilliant.
'holes' was a slang term for /crazy and/or empty headed person. Albert Hall? I suspect that is a place of rulers... one moment...

Rumors abounded. After the dust settled, a clear thought emerged. Here's the real story:

From the horse's mouth RoyalAlbertHall-dot-com

Dated 24 June 1967, they ["the Hall’s council minutes, which were uncovered by the venue’s archives team after further research"] note:

“Despite firm correspondence ..., the band have refused to acknowledge our concerns or apologise for the offence caused, let alone change the lyrics of the song. As a result, Council have voted unanimously to ban indefinitely the performance of the song by any artist performing at the Royal Albert Hall.”

RE-WRITE of the ABOVE (edited for accuracy, among other things, like style points)
Our system only gives 30 minutes. I get distracted sometimes. Oh well. Pardon me, please?

Ring, ring, ring?!?
Was that an alarm clock?
No, it's just the dang cell phone.
/yawn

Back then... (or so I have heard) the term, 'holes' was Brit slang for 'crazy' and/or 'empty headed' person. Albert Hall? It's famous in musical circles.

Rumors abounded. After the dust settled, a clear thought emerged. It turns out that what I thought I "knew" was just part of the background noise that surrounds famous people. Their fans often speculate and announce,
"Ah, HA! I got it!" or, as Kelly Bundy once said, "Urethra! I've found it."

Wow. You know I have a menu signed by John Lennon from who remembers when.
I'll bet it's worth something. With the little face.
He was with Yoko at the time but we don't have hers.
Yeah. She liked linquine with white clam sauce - at the time.
Hubby had them in the restrnt a few times.
(and others) (never the Beatles).

But do you have a ring-ring song maybe? Something (any thing that this thought or concept reminds you of especially if it came through in musical earworm and you just couldn't get it outta your head? I tried looking at children's song earlier but alas...

My alarm (grand father's clock just went off...) sounded like ringing to me. Where's the third of our triplet?
... pause for cornsideration. I'll be back with a 'corn' story in a bit. Tru story.

Ring, Ring... almost reminds me of... (sparrow's voice fades off into the distance and we hear some rumbling going on) OUCH! (head smack sound)... Oh! Maybe I know one more...

One never knows when such a thing might come in handy.
Typically I let my friend(s) handle the musical stuff -- garage musicians (who also play local sites) know their stuff. What do I know? Well, sometimes it rubs off no matter the precaution.

My ring ring song wasn't good?
You mean a REAL RING?
Hey....I don't like real rings...it means the phone is ringing and I dislike speaking on the phone.

Boy, but you're demanding!:

Real ring? No. But thanks for the contribution. I lvoe children's songs and that one was perfecto!

New KEYWORD : FIRE 🔥🔥

I was singing this one while shopping at the Dollar Store today. Yeah. Singing. The song isn't the one I want for the start of the next set, but it gets me there in any case. Jim Morrison and The Doors, "Light My Fire."

We skip past the late 60's with the idea, "Fire" songs are songs about a burning desire. What 'bout a little further off the path? A burning desire? "Just a closer walk with Thee..." I'll spare you the familiar and tune to the ... the... burning desire, the fire.

Louis Armstrong & Mahalia Jackson - Just A Closer Walk With Thee - 7/10/1970 (Official)
🔥🔥 I especially heart : Mahalia. She's all warmed up by mid-tune. All warmed up and then some. Worth a gander. Now, this isn't just any 'Gospel song.' Well, it is, but it's being sung by the 'Queen of the Gospel." At fm 2:41 she claps her hands and it's on, from there on. I see the Spirit on her. It's her love for Him that comes through.

Let it be. The word, 'amen' is another way of saying, "Let it be." Jesus said the amen to that one. John 17:21-22
