From the 2011 ESV:

Quote:

[Gen 3:16] To the woman he said,
“I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing;
in pain you shall bring forth children.
Your desire shall be for your husband,
and he shall rule over you.”

From The New Improved 2016 ESV:

Quote:

To the woman he said,
“I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing;
in pain you shall bring forth children.
Your desire shall be contrary to your husband,
but he shall rule over you.”

It appears women are becoming contrary to their husbands or will after reading this
cause its in the Bible now

I kinda see how they might get that out of the passage.

If the desire that woman is cursed with is the desire to have what the man has that she can not have, and which then causes her to be 'contrary' towards her husband, then, yes,I can see how her desire can be interpreted as her being contrary to her husband.
