hypocrites give us all (Christians, that is) a bad name, but...aren't we all hypocrites ("brats"), to some extent? I was an unredeemed hypocrite, thru and thru, until Jesus dealt with my heart and saved me...while i was on bond, facing charges. true story.
Verna says: keep your eyes on Jesus, and don't let a hypocrite keep you from The Lord. A cousin says: eyes on Christ, and Him Crucified.
Its just...not easy, I guess. Not that I"m super duper amazingly Christian, but...sometimes, I run into decent human beings who shrug off religion. not hardcore atheist, just...-shrug- who knows? and then I meet angry, cruel people who claim Christ, and...yeah. yeah.
I also need to pray to not be a hypocrite (again...) and show Christ to people, even when they're mocking me and/or I don't -feel like it-, etc. Thanks.
