Funny story and a conversation starter. :)

I had an idea for a vynil decal on the rear window of my Jeep, and I was shocked to find nothing like this anywhere on eBay or Amazon. Heck, I couldn't even draw this phrase in a general Google search! Nowhere! How is this?

"Real Men Surrender" with a picture of the cross or something, ideally. I know now, that I'll definitely need a Christian image if I do this. On eBay, you can order custom vynil print, just letters and words. So I ordered it; just the phrase. I figured I'd order an image separately to go with it. About 20 minutes after I ordered it, I got a refund with a message saying "I won't sell *beeeep* to *beeeep* who won't fight for the flag!!" :hysterical

At first, I was mad, and then I wanted to explain what it means, but I just dropped it. I'll probably respond later, but that's funny, right? :lol

In the lower left of my rear window, I have a decal that says "It is Finished" with the t as the cross. So, do you have anything faith-based on your cars?

Just as an FYI, if you are even a little savvy with programs like Photoshop you can make your own image (png, specifically) upload it to a site like Redbubble and order a sticker of what you just uploaded. If you do upload it to Redbubble you can even sell them.

Hey, thanks for the tip! I'll give it a try! Now, I'll go back and delete everything except my final paragraph, you all you leaches don't steal my idea and make millions! Ha ha!

Actually, if you put a TM on any image you make you are in essence putting a claim on that image. You can, if you want, pursue filing for an officially registered trademark, but even simply putting those two simple letter will tell anyone you have "laid claim" to the image you are using.

That depends in whether your lawyer is better than my lawyer.
So, it's you! Concept thief!

Okay, okay. I'm not going to patent anything. I don't have the entrepreneur fortitude within me.

I asked the question at the end that has not been responded to. If you have any faith based stickies on your car, what do you have? Or, what have you seen on other cars that caught your eye?

I can't say I have ever had faith based stickies on my car.

I think the only things I've ever seen is an icthus
stuck on the rear

I don't have any stickers or decals on my car, but I've seen a lot of 'em that I like. I'll try to remember what they were or what they said. So far the only one I can remember is Jesus fish designs.

No, because I don't want to bring reproach on the name of Christ when I'm driving badly and unsaved people see I'm a Christian.
This post was inevitable. Maybe having something would cause you to be a more courteous driver and stop giving everyone the "you're #1" sign like you're prone to do. :cool2

Been there and have the t-shirt, that's why I took mine off. Although I must say I'm much better now.

Love it what a gas

I get that. Even though the driver I've just given the V sign to doesn't know I'm a Christian if they see a Christian motif that they recognise then it doesn't bode well.

Mind you it could be embarrassing if you do it to someone who does know you and happens to be in your church.

Funny true story (well I found it funny) and not related to car stickies.

Our pastor loves football. When he was a pastor in his old church one day he took his wife to a football match.
As he and his wife was watching the match the guy behind him was effing and blinding. Eventually the pastor had enough, it was the first time he took his wife to a match. So he decided to speak to the man behind him who was effing and blinding. When he turned round to speak to the guy he happened to be a member of his church.

Oh dear

My brake lights ,turn signals are the number one symbol. They tell all how much I appreciate them.

Yes, ultimately our lives are our witness.
But I'm not negating what Mikey wants to do. It's because of this quote on the menu behind the counter of a Chicken Coop carry out restaurant that I used to frequent that my Christ awareness was raised while still an unbeliever:

"Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last." (C. T. Studd)

I used to have a bumper sticker on my car for the church I was attending right after getting saved. What I found out was, inevitably, no matter how good of a driver you are and want to be, sooner or later you'll find yourself in a lane you're not supposed to be in, or not quite making it through the yellow light, or whatever else can suddenly happen on the road before you even know what's going on. Of course, to everyone else you're just a selfish, thoughtless, lawless driver who doesn't want to play by the rules, and the fish or whatever it is on your car witnessing your faith to the world just adds fuel to their venomous hatred of self righteous, hypocritical 'Christians'.

I'm okay with your desire to advertise your faith. As I said, someone doing that was instrumental for me eventually coming to Christ (you must get over to southwest Michigan and eat some fried chicken from Chicken Coop). Just be aware of the potential unintended fallout from advertising it on your vehicle.
