The 7 feasts of the Lord are pre Appointed Times & Prophetic Shadows.

Feast Of Tabernacles 2019 begins Sunday, October 13, at sunset & ends Sunday, October 20

The festival goes by a number of names: Feast of Tabernacles, Sukkot (Hebrew for 'booths'), Feast of Booths, Feast of the Nations & The Season of Our Joy/Rejoicing

This Feast was 1 of 3 mandatory "pilgrimage" festivals/feasts listed in Lev 23

During the days of this Feast all native Israelites were make & “to dwell in booths” to remind them how the Lord had delivered them out of Egypt & to look forward to the coming promised Messiah.

Jn 1:14 He became flesh & dwelt/Tabernacled amoung us!

Feast Of Tabernacles/Sukkot (the "Autumn" of life) occurs & celebrates the time of the “produce harvest,” (the summer fruits of trees like olives, pomegranates or citrons)

The festival looks back at the 40 year period of time when the Israelites lived in the wilderness of Sinai. One year for everyday they spied instead of attacking as the Lord had instructed (Num 14:34)

The Presence of God dwelling in their midst. He covered them daily with His cloud, and at night warmed them with His fiery presence.

During their 40 year "wilderness experience" all needs were taken care of, neither their shoes nor their clothes wore out Deut 29:5.

The Feast of Tabernacles also looks forward to the 1000 year Messianic Kingdom when Jesus will be dwelling in & ruling from Jerusalem.

Zec. 14:16 “It shall come to pass, (millennium kingdom) that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem. Shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts. To keep the Feast of tabernacles

17 It shall be, that who will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain”

John 7:
37 In the last day, that great day (day 8) of the feast (Tabernacles), Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

The words “In the last day” means that this event occurred on the last day (day 8) of the Feast of Tabernacles. Day 8 also means: "A New Beginning"

Christ rose (was glorified) on the 8th day which was a new beginning for the world.

And on the last day, that great day "8" of the feast (Tabernacles). On the last Feast at the end of Christ's 1000 yr reign. God, who rested on day 7. Will once again on Day "8" begin to create anew.

Final thought:
Paul wrote all scripture is God breathed/inspired (2 Tim 3:16). And that all scripture was written for our instruction/learning (Rom 15:4). That's written for our Instruction/Learning ""NOT"" for our doctrine.

Concerning the end of the 1000 year reign of Christ, Revelation 20:3, 7-15, how long do you think that, 'a little season' will be?
