[__ Prayer __] Feeling a bit sick.

Started feeling a tickle in my throat Sunday. Monday it turned into a head cold. Yesterday it moved into my lungs.
My breathing is fine, but I've been up all night with a cough. Clear mucus is coming up, so that's good. The little sleep I did get was sitting up in a chair. I'm running a mold temperature.

I'm not concerned if this is Covid or not. I'm not letting fear take hold. That being said, if it gets worse and I go to the hospital I'll get a test. Until then, I'm just staying at home.

Please keep me in your prayers.

Thanks everyone. My lungs aren’t burning anymore, which is good. They were burning pretty good this morning.

Even with 12 hr Mucinex and Sudafed my nose is still runny every now and then. Tylenol rapid release tabs are keeping the aches almost unnoticeable and my fever in check. So I’m doing well.
overall, I’ve got a mild headache, mild body aches, a sneeze every now and then, runny nose, a somewhat dry cough and a mild squeeze in my chest. Talking is manageable in short bursts, but laughing is just downright painful.

our oldest son just moved up from Texas and has health issues. He started feeling head congestion today. My youngest son who started all this last Wednesday took one day off work last week and has powered through his symptoms. Must be nice to be a healthy 21year old lol!

It feels close to pneumonia, just not as acute. ive had pneumonia several times and still have benzonite if need be, it I feel better now than this morning. I just can’t get my nose to stop running.

If this is as worse as it gets, I’m blessed. I’ve been way sicker. I think it was two years ago I was really bad. That was the last year I took a flu shot. I got pneumonia twice that year. No fun.

im just glad I can function. mentally I’m a bit dull, but I’m able to work most of the day. I really wanted to play my guitar tonight, but my wife just wanted to relax.

I picked up my sons car from the shop today at the dealership. 10 people there tested positive for coved. They shut down right after I got the car. I sure the dealership will be closed for the next 10 days. i told them I was sick so I paid outside in full ppe. They were a bit nervous with me, rightfully so.

I just hope my wife doesn’t get it. She had a mild fever this morning, but she is fine so far. one person at her work already tested positive and another is awaiting their test results. If the second one comes back positive, they may shut that office down. Btw, she works at the post office. Not good if it shuts down...

oh asthma does this for me. severe attack days even with the inhaler that i use , it will get the burns and itches with a fever. allergen induced asthma and its possible that you can be asthmatic and also have allergies , usually if you do get asthma, allergies follow. clear mucus and running nose is what i always have when its severe, even a fever with allergies.

Lol you are a fighter, running about all over the place. Too many business places having to close down. Some won't re-open.
The flu jab doesn't seem to suit everyone and it only works on certain flu .

Ha, thanks. I’m not sure if it’s the Sudafed but my body isn’t that tired. I decided to sleep in a chair last night to keep my head above my lungs and it was a huge improvement. Woke up a few times to clear my lungs and they are no longer burning, especially when I cough. So overall, I feel much better this morning. Head even feels clearer.

My wife has an excellent immune system. She had a mild fever yesterday and she was tired last night. This morning was a typical morning for her.

Im still curious if this is a strain of Covid. Its worse than a cold, but not as bad as the flu. They say most cases of Covid are mild and with the explosion of Covid cases in our county, odds are pretty good I have it. I won’t get tested though, because if I do, the health department will quarantine my wife and son. They did that to my neighbors husband when she had Covid. They went two weeks without an income.

The guy at my wife’s work that tested positive is 65 and he was out exactly 10 days. He had 3 really bad days but then pulled through and is back working.

Things seem to be going in the right direction. I think you may be right though about it being a mild covid infection. It sounds like it. Probably many of us have at some stage caught it and never realised. Yours sounds a bit above the mild but so glad you are feeling better today, and your wife also.
That's what they are doing over here with the quarantine too. Anyone who has been near someone with positive test is on quarantine 14 days.

I haven't been able to stay in bed. Been sitting up working from home.
I inherited a 250 line query at work and I expanded it to about 400 lines (filtering for a single record to make sure my add on was correct). I'm up to about 400 lines. When I took off my filter, I got 8 billion records returned. Oops.That tells me I've got duplicate records. Skimmed the code, made some adjustments and now I'm down to 5 billion. I should only have a few hundred thousand records...something is terrible wrong. Did some more digging and the base query I was given is junk. It's not salvageable. This morning I will start over and write the entire query from scratch. I'll be working this weekend.,. It's a lot of work.

My head has cleared up, no need for meds, I don't think anyway. I'll see. I'm tired, really tired but the fog over my brain feels lifted. Now that my head feels better, I can really feel how bad my lungs hurt. I think it's one of those situations where you stub your toe, but you can't feel it because you smacked your thumb with a hammer at the same time.
