There will always be opposition when we publicly stand for Christ and testify of Him. Kudos to Rep. Stephanie Borowicz for her testifying of Christ.

I don't see this the same way. The video doesn't share why she was given opportunity to address the assembly to begin with and then when she finished she just walked away from the microphone. The impression I got was that she deceitfully got her spot not to address the assembly with congressional business but instead to preach to the assembly. My impression was that she was using Jesus as a means of grandstanding for the purpose of drawing attention to herself and inciting the response that she knew would come.
It's one thing to call for opportunity to address the assembly for the purpose of congressional business and starting her speech with a prayer asking for God's guidance but it is something entirely different to use the opportunity as a springboard to preach.
Maybe I'm wrong but that's what it looked like to me. So what can we expect to follow? Members of other religions will expect equal time and now the duties of our congress could be tied up in endless religious debate rather than the responsibilities for which they are called to do.
The CEO of the company I work for is a very devout Christian man and every time we got together for a meeting including our employee appreciation events and what not, he always made it known that he gave God the glory but he did it without preaching to us or grandstanding. He just included God in his address to us and left it at that. In my opinion, that's how it should be done.

I don't like it when politicians do things like this. it -is- divisive, it -is- deceitful and it is almost always manipulative...a way to curry favor with a certain segment of the Christian (usually Protestant) population.
here where I live, the selective Scripture reading, etc. has apparently resulted in some candidates trying to 'out-Born Again' each other. No lie...there's a bilboard, not far from me, with Bible verses that openly questions the faith of another (GOP) politician. not good, not good at all. and then...
on the less conservative/more moderate DNC end, you have occasional Dems talking about their (self-serving) take on Scripture, Christian tradition, Jesus, etc. and then...
on the more 'progressive' end of the ideological spectrum, one sees 'social justice' groups putting together Scripture, tradition, etc. to justify -their- mission.
I mostly lean left. sometimes...very left, as people view 'left' vs 'right,' etc. im not arguing for a complete removal of religous considerations from discussion of pressing issues, but I am saying...
its almost always -not- helping add anything of substance to the discussion. When a politician pulls out Scripture, the motives are usually: a) get air time b) get some quality sound bites in and c) try to get the moral high road, even if they are really just trying to accomplish this by using the right visuals, tone of voice, music, setting, etc. to appeal to some peoples' emotions. that's...also how propaganda works, btw. :-(

I may have misunderstood the video. There might not be enough information to support my previous assessment. It was my understanding that she requested the opportunity to address the assembly during a debate but now, after reviewing the video again and watching more closely along with the title of the video, I see that it is possible that she was called to give a session opening invocation. If this is the case, then I must recant my previous post.

what was she supposed to do ? stand there and wait i for one appreciate how she at least in prayer brought a small message as a christian you can pray but not use the name of Jesus. might i add i for one am opposed to the Bible being taught in school ..why ??????? because i dont want it watered down how would the teach john 3 or Romans 10 or Galatians 5 works of the flesh/fruit of the spirit . the parable of wheat and tares . no i dont trust just any one to teach the Bible and that includes in Church.

Given the fact that no Muslim will swear allegiance to America over Islam, and that no Muslim will take their oath of office in complete sincerity, there should already have been a ban on Muslims taking public office. That is equivalent to placing the enemies of America in office.

Every evil thing is promoted by the politicians including abortion, gay-rights, same-sex marriage, illegal aliens, open borders, and malicious and seditious attacks against President Trump. And now support for Islam which has vowed to destroy America.
Christians should understand that Radical Islam is indeed the proper interpretation of the Quran, which denounces Christians and Jews and teaches Jihad (Holy War) against these infidels.

Why is it that no one ever learns any lessons from history? The Trojan War is a good example. The Islamic Caliphates which held sway in Europe and the Middle East for about 1,300 years is another good example. The deliberate placement of moles by the Communists within the government of the USA is another good example.

She's not a hidden mole because she is a part of the Trojan Horse in plain sight! That's the beauty of hiding in plain sight.
Now we have Ilhan Omar making blatantly Anti-Semitic remarks in the US Congress and getting away with it: "A trio of far-left Democrats are normalizing blatant anti-Semitism in the Democratic Party as leaders in the party idly stand by and refuse to condemn their actions and statements...."
These women are promoting hatred for Israel and the Jews, and it is no secret that almost all Muslim countries have vowed to drive Israel into the sea. And the Democrats not only stand by, but join hands with racist Black Muslim Louis Farrakhan who says "kill all the white and Jews", and gets away with it.
But a Christian legislator was excoriated for praying a sincere and heartfelt Christian prayer because "the Muslim was offended". Imagine. But any criticism of Islam or the Quran is immediately labeled as "racist" and "Islamophobic", and there is no appropriate response because the public is kept in the dark.
Your citizens elected her into office because the Main Stream Media (MSM -- the creators of Fake News) have deliberately refused to educate the general public about the goals and objectives of Radical Islam. Instead, they indulge in Left-Liberal propaganda.
Islam's war against the West, Christians, and Jews, is being implemented with the collusion of the lying politicians and the shameless media, and the evil deeds of the Muslim population in the UK and Europe are being deliberately suppressed. But you will never hear any of this from CNN, MSNBC, ABC, etc.
