once again....she's going thru it. her son is getting closer to her while finishing a divorce. her daughter finally called. the great grandson is coming over for Thanksgiving. and yet...
a brother in law is dying, in a for profit hospice care center. a younger brother is in the end stages of Parkinsons. 2 younger sisters have health issues. and...
she's always been there for me. its...crazy, to me, now. over time, The Lord has made me more of a real friend, less of a non stop pity party, etc., but...still...what patience, what goodness. she always quotes to me: "the harvest is great but the laborers are few." hopefully, one day i'll be able to pour into someone's life like verna's poured into mine.
