I'm going to bring this up with my counselor, but I definitely have something with short term memory going on. I keep setting things down and forgetting about them completely, misplacing things (though I can usually find them again fairly easily), things like that. It's more or less that I get distracted once I set something down, and then it leaves my mind. (Examples, got myself two glasses of water because I didn't realize I already grabbed one, got my lunch out to bring with me then walked out the house without it, same with my keys another day, this morning forgot I was drinking orange juice when I walked away from it and when I saw the glass again I wasn't sure if it was mine or not, etc.)

I don't know if I've always been doing this or if it's new. (Though I do remember as a kid, I would frequently forget things I wanted to say in conversations and stuff. I would be so focused on the fact that I wanted to speak, when I was able to I no longer remembered what it was I wanted to say.)

So today after I left work I got all the way back home before remembering I left something there. I walk all the way back..... And only then realize I left my keys back at home, so I can't get back inside work. I get frustrated and just go back home.
