Got it I see. So you having to live with MS, I was reading other comments.
Yeah, and in the seventies the VA had no idea and wanted me to let one of the Student Doctors do an Exploratory Surgery on my back. Theu had already put dad into a Body Brace for the remainder of his life and I was not willing to accept that ride so I got out of the system.

I got run out of business with the Mexican Invasion in the eighties and then in the nineties I pulled out my personal hand-tools and went and got me a house to build but I could no longer walk on a single rafter, let alone skip and run one and that dream died on that house. Then I had a Commercial Driver's License but slid down the scale until all anyone would ley me drive snfd work 15 hours a day was a Concrete Mixer. When I fell off the side of m Mixer, they force me onto SSD.

But you know, there are two chioces, you can live with what you have or you can off yourself and if the Vietnamese could no kill me, shooting me out of the air, I figure I'm to good looking to shoot myself... go figure!

Yea man life huh!!! It goes past our ability to understand it. I always think about the scripture "the peace that passes all understanding." It's unreal how we have a similar life, I been framing all my life. I'm 60 now and headed to Indian hospital to see if I can get some kind of a shot for my neck. I'm still a saw man, doing more remodel now because of the no help deal and the invasion.
The Indians in southern Oklahoma get a percap check, so their messed up. It's basically tribal welfare and white guys that know how to frame are all on crack.
So the builders had to go with the mexicans, they tried to stay loyal to us but we could not get anyone to work that knew anything.
My cuz and I hooked up for a few years and did good but he is wore out, hung up his bags. Anyway bud stay strong, we know the healer and He will keep us going. It may hurt at times but trusting the Father has been the greatest blessing that has ever happened to me. When I look back and see where I come from, I can't even have any doubts to what my Father is to me.

Life is a hoot no? Your out of the Nations and a Carpenter. You never know what God has for you next. I honestly, never figured to live past thirty and now I pray that I will not see eighty. May God bless.

Because of my Vertigo and MS, I no longer play the Bass nor my beloved Special Built T-6, Gene Watson Guitar and the LORD giveth aqnd the LORD taketh away, blessed be the name YHWH! I can't sing any more and sound like a winger blessed by Him. It was my pride but He has taught me that all worship belongs to Him and it always tugged at my heart when people applauded me... but I never told them not to stand and applaud when I finished a Number, either.

I just play some on one of my Harmonicas, and that just for my family and my self but first and foremost, for my YHWH.

That is truly amazing! I took a trip to Denver, Col. and coming back to Texas, I passed through the Mescalero Apachee Reservation and those living there looked like Winos and all that is there are Hovels that they live in and a Casino to remove their hope of ever being somebody again.

My birth father left the remnant that remained south of the Border, a son of Sierra, and worked hisw butt off until He messed up and married my mom, that drove him to the whisky and then he lived on Skid Row and worked for Peak Load and fell off the truck while I was in Vietnam.

My last job building anything was a Restoration Job on a brick house that a car fleeing the Police drove into the Living Room, working with and under another former Construction Coimpany. Our lives really are paralel.

Gosh, all I can play are the Spoons.... and not too well, either.
I know you are probably jokin Willy but there is a video on YouTube of a chick playing spoons, look like she is from the hills somewhere and accompanied by a guitar dude she is the best I have ever seen. I actually saw it on FB

Throughout my life, from about five or six somebody played the Spoons and the Washboard when a porch performance would occure. Fir a time we had a man with a much better and more consistent tan than mine played a Number 3 Wash Tub Bass with a single string and a closet rod attached to the Bottom of the bottom with a Long Gate Henge and he was the best C&W Base player I ever heard, never missed a note qand was a real kick to perform with. He had little money and he loved country living and country music.

Now if I could just play a Number Three I could still perform.

Ahh the good ol days huh, I have seen many backwoods players that could jam.
One eyed Howard was dynomite on Guitar and singing the old tunes. My dad played drums in the honky tonks. I farvored the piano and was picking it up. Man the Evangelists that played the pianos and Hammon Organs, wow people would literally tear down a tent, unreal.
Advice I got at the time was, dont play an instrument, stay in front of the people, be the money man haha bad advice. I still watch the old AA allen vids just to see Gene his music man. He wore a robe and when he started dancing all you could see was his feet kicking out from under the robe haha great stuff, on YouTube.
