When I first joined this forum (my first one) I used to TYPE
THE VERSES because I didn't know better! From my bible!

Then one day I figured out that if I wrote the first few words,
in Google, the verse would come up.

Then one day I found out about biblehub !

And yes, I agree about growing continually.
There's always something to learn and take away from the N.T.
It can be read by the simplist person and still be understood.
Or it could be studied by a scholar for years.
It's good for everyone!
Because God wanted Himself to be known by man.

I'm definitely not a techy like the guy in the picture, but I'm getting pretty close to looking like that, but I don't have his space and wish I did for a 4th monitor that my system is designed for, but what I do have is a business computer with Windows 10, upgraded with several hard drives and more memory, and other custom built-in features, and two 32" LG monitors with on-screen prompts for separate applications and can be used independently of each other. I can move my cursor from one monitor to the other using just one mouse, even move pages from one monitor to the other, or split monitors into several pages. I'm still learning that and can also do separate research on each monitor as if I had 2 computers, or do a study on one monitor while doing a google search on the other, or look up a Greek word meaning on one while researching a word or verse on the other in English, maybe looking for meaning in that particular context.

With a little ingenuity, I think I can find physical room for one more monitor by moving things around and a little reorganization, and my computer guy says he can install another port for a third monitor when I'm ready.

The big advantage to having multiple monitors right now is not having to jump back and forth using one monitor and lose pages you were viewing, and being able to do multiple google searches at the same time, and even copying from either monitor to my copier without losing what's on the other monitor.

Having a third monitor would give me that next level edge for my research, and I have already needed a third one several times, but I need more time to get more familiar with what I have.

I really feel God blessing me in my progress, and give Him all the credit for this system, and helping me learn to use it for His Glory and my growth.

if I may ,you ought to pray more ,read more in the bible .

no amount savings ,no amount of prestridge ,skill,set ,and good works will matter when you are dead .
.but the things you did for God will matter

We all have our different stages of life, and you are here and we do enjoy you a lot, and you have great input and insight, and opinions.

You are right. It is fun, BUT...my GOAL IS HEAVEN, as everyone's should be.
1st Peter 4:18 says, "If it is with difficulty that the righteous is saved, what will become of the Godless and sinner," and so many more verses warning us about the impossibility of heaven especially on our own.

Claiming Jesus as my savior is just the beginning of a long journey of trials, struggles, being a piece of clay shaped by the POTTER, painfully sometimes, and having the fiery trials of sin being removed by God, that can be excruciating as we choose Him and surrender to being His not our own, 1st Co. 6:19, and getting to know our God personally, instead of choosing our own path to destruction.
(I've been writing this on one monitor and researching the verses I used here on the other monitor. 56inches of horizontal monitors.
Totally independently of each other, and yet I can move my cursor from screen to screen, and even move pages from one screen to another and study them side by side and have a blank monitor, that I can choose other pages, up to 2 more, and put them side by side and study them too, now having 4 pages, or split them even more and have 8 pages to study at once - PRETTY WILD. Think about having 1 or 2 more monitors - Crazy, but I don't lose pages now).

I'm convinced that God calls us to a personal way of study for our growth of faith that suits each of us by God's design.
No one has to study my way, as this is just what God has called me to do for my growth that I'm commanded to accomplish with the help of the Holy Spirit.

I have learned in my 43 years of study, especially lately, to just GO FOR IT when I feel God calling me through the Holy Spirit, to a new level of learning, and a new season of faith.
It's exciting to step out in faith, as you have no idea of what God has in mind or how SATAN is going to attack me as he has in the past, but I have learned to put that and many other things of my life and faith in God's care, and be courageous in Christ, and let Him take care of me, as I move forward to grow and share with others which SATAN just hates.

I don't know if I'll ever get to this level.
I'm a deep thinker and I have to think everything out.
It's terrible...but I can't seem to change.
I usually end up doing something God would be happy with...but
in my own way. I mean, really, is it possible to compromise with God?
I doubt it.
An opportunity passed by is a blessing lost.

The more grace we need, the more God gives us...but
sometimes we stop that flow by not answering immediately.

For some reason, I have never second-guessed myself or questioned my ability to get things done. Not arrogance or bragging, I guess it's just innate built-in confidence. I never think about it or compare it to anyone else. I guess It's just how I'm wired by God.
My daily life is like that also and especially my spiritual life is really like that.
I don't like procrastination, but I don't like to act too quickly either, without considering everything and assessing all that's involved, to make the wisest choice, then "I just go for it", and acquire all I need to bring about what I was called to do.
All that has served God and me well, and yes when the Holy Spirit speaks, I jump into action.
It's how we work together as partners.
I'm in a new season of life now, right where God wants me.

You are so right.
There are windows of opportunity, that sometimes come and go very quickly, and we have to learn to recognize those opportunities and act quickly to take advantage of them. It's just built into me and my "method of operation," to be like that.

For most of us, it's a process of learning and praying, noticing where we come up short, and pray for how you want to change, and if it's God's will.
Prayer, daily or even sometimes hourly prayer, is such a powerful tool to constantly depend on God and follow His plan for you, Jeremiah 29:11-14.
