Today we remember the day that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins even though we are undeserving of His great love towards us. So since I'm usually better at writing things out that I want to say, and even though I'm really embarrassed to admit that I'm not very good with just praying off the top of my head,.. I figured that I would type out this prayer for all of us to say.
"Heavenly Father, we come before you today Lord to thank you for your unwavering and unconditional love towards us Thank you for dying on the cross for our sins even though we don't deserve your mercy at all for we are all sinners. If we have any sin that's left unsaid, we ask you to forgive us for them and for all of our other sins as well.
For those who are suffering from the Coronavirus, or know of a family member or friend that is suffering from it, we pray that you watch over them and protect them and take care of them,.. for we know that no matter how bad a situation looks that you are ALWAYS in control Father. Help us to remind us that although we spend this Easter in isolation that it isn't about the eggs and chocolate, it is all about you Father.
We come before you a humble servant and believe within our whole entire hearts that you sent your only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins out of love for us so that we can be in Paradise with you forever and ever. We also believe that He rose three days later and He is not dead but He is alive forever and ever. Help us to remove all of the doubts in our mind that He is Lord of the heavens and the earth and He is Lord of our lives, and if there is still anybody here who is reading this who doesn't know this and believe this yet, we pray for their salvation.
Also, if there is somebody here reading this who has started backsliding a little bit or has come to renew their love and commitment towards you, we ask that you bless them and let them know of your undying love for them Father. This we ask in your name,.. Amen."
