ok. ive liked this band forever. this is...embarrassing...
at the age of 15, i set out to become an indie kid...just as indie was giving way to other things. thrift store clothes, straightened and dyed hair, etc. oh, im male, btw. lol. and...gay. or i was gay. and i flamed, i flamed with gay.
so, im 35 now. i -still- like guided by voices, and the cool kidz are all about them, too. now...and i dont know. not all the songs are family friendly, but a lot are...and even though pretentious ppl like them and prove their hipster-ness and all...
i dunno. i just like "cool" music, I guess. it is what it is...
ok. here's a song i think is poppy and fun, ive liked it since high school. i'll throw in a couple others, too.

now that its...pretty much me, no hipsters in sight, i think i can enjoy my music without being labeled a 'poser,' etc. (bitter much, lol).
