There is salvation in no other, for there is not another name under heaven having been given among men, by which it behooves us to be saved."

Have you or anyone you have personally known ever had a "near-death" or other "supernatural" experience?

I do not have any NDE's myself, but I have several "other supernatural" experiences.

Here's one. I call it, When Jesus steps into the room, you know it! I did not see Him. But I felt Him enter the room and His presence was powerful and I knew that God had just stepped in. Even before He spoke. Then He spoke audibly and told me to pray for a certain Brother in Christ that I knew, he needs help right now...

So I did the stupidest thing possible. I began to question God. Why? What happened? Is he ok? And then He answered and said, He needs help right now pray for him to receive help...

But when He said that to me, He changed His tone ever so slightly. Do you know that tone of voice that parents use on the kids where the tone itself delivers the message of, you better do this right ow and with no backtalk...? That tone. That is the tone that He used. It struck terror into me most immediately and I responded, Yes Lord. And went into prayer for my friend and Brother. I said my Amens and as I did the presence of God went away and I was left sitting alone and feeling very curious as to what had happened to my Brother. He didn't tell me. So I contacted my Brother and he told me what happened and how he did need help and then suddenly a stranger wearing a suit was there saying, I'm here to help what do you need? So everything turned out ok with him, praise the Lord.

That was the most powerful presence of God that I have ever felt before, or since. And when He spoke, I recognized His voice, even though I have no recollection of having ever heard it before. And I thought about Zechariahs incident of being struck dumb so he could not speak until the baby was born because he questioned the Angel...and I felt very lucky that I was not! Praise the Lord for that!

I learned a very valuable lesson that day. The correct answer is, Yes Lord.

What an amazing experience! Thanks for sharing!

Here's another, but it involved an unclean spirit that my wife and I experienced together.

My wife and I had spent the day at Clearwater Beach (St. Pete) with her brother, Alfredo, and his girlfriend. Thereafter, my wife and I made the 90-minute drive back to our central Florida home just west of Orlando. Alfredo and his girlfriend remained in Clearwater for the night.

Once home, my wife and I sat in front of our computer to review some financials. We were alone in the house and nothing, such as a tv, radio, or other media were playing.

It was dead silent and then, from out of the blue, we heard the very distinct voice of her brother say her name "Andrea". I said "Did you hear that"? She responded "Yea, it's Alfredo". We both walked into our family expecting to see Alfredo but, he was not there. We called his cell phone and he and his girlfriend were, just as we left them, in Clearwater, Florida, 90 minutes from our home.

Had we BOTH not heard it, we could have dismissed it as "hearing things". However, we both DID hear it. We had no explanation for what happened. For years I searched for an answer.

Then I posted this experience to a "ghost" forum. Someone responded and told me that it was, what is called, a "mimic".

It never again happened to us, thankfully. We believe it was a demon that, for whatever reason, had the power to mimic her brother and did so to unnerve us, which it did, a little.

I feel for your friend. I had a difficult labor with my first child and after I had officially given birth, I was in really bad shape. I almost died, my blood loss was severe. I remembered looking around the room and suddenly I saw black splotches and heard a horrid ringing in my ears. I was crying out to my husband, "Help! I can see! I can't hear!" I saw him get up and dash the other way. By the time nurses got in there, I couldn't see anything - everything was just black.

I could feel hands around me from the doctors and nurses that were there, but I couldn't hear with the ringing in my ears what was even happening. I didn't see God or Jesus, no bright light, no stairway, nothing - just darkness. Then, I was suddenly awake and they were getting blood transfusions for me ASAP.

When I was much younger, I had a seizure in the middle of the night and wasn't sure how long that lasted, but no one was awake and I was in my room alone. I woke on my side in the middle of my bed and thought everything was all over, but then it was like my oxygen was being pulled out of me. I couldn't take another breath and that was terrifying. My heart must've stopped. I saw a lot of things flash before my eyes and, "What about my loved ones?!" was my last thought there. I passed out. I awoke later...not sure how long I was blacked out for. It was still nighttime when I came out of it, but I was terrified to try and sleep.

The most recent near death experience, I had status epilepticus. I was unconscious for a long amount of time. I remember opening my eyes on and off when at home, being hauled into the ambulance, and on my way into the hospital. I remember some little details, but hardly any.

They were trying for 2-3 hours to even stabilize me. When I was at the hospital, I was pretty much out of it. Just, darkness, I wasn't hearing anything around me. No ringing, no voices, I didn't feel anything (no needles, no one touching me, nothing...), it was peaceful - as if I were asleep. I didn't see anything divine, but I wasn't afraid, I wasn't worrying about anything, I just was. I know that God/Jesus/The Holy Spirit/An Angel...someone was comforting me..just the presence I felt. I woke up, eventually.

Those experiences are never fun >_<

I could contribute a few more. But which one?

I have one where work was slow and I ws behind in rent and was having a garage sale to try to make some bucks to help it...it wsn't working and my landlord drove up with my eviction papers. And I also had a utility shut off notice for Monday (this was Saturday). So I immediately pryed for help. More work, something. And within 2 hours of me praying, an Angel (in the form of a man) came to my garage sale and over paid me for my household items. Way too much....
This is a great one!!

Or another one was one saturday I woke to my kids having a fist fight and were tearing up my house...I got up yelling for them to stop fighting...and the younger one got beliggerant & disrespectful, and I don't take that from my kids in my house, so I popped him one...and my two kids called the polie on my and teamed up together to tell lies, that I started the trouble And that made me mad. Police do not like that. They said if they have to come back, then I am getting arrested. So they left, but that made the young one emboldened to be disrespectful again...I popped him again. And he called the police, so I took off walking to not be there when they came. And I started praying, Lord please don't let me get arrested! And an easily heard inner voice...turn left in this alley, sit here and rest for a few, get up and walk, go right, go left....and so forth, Once in awhile, I could see the cop cars driving by the intersection a couple blocks up. They had 3 cars looking for me...and the Lord hid me under the shadow of His wing so they would not find me. Then after 45 minutes or so, I heard, ok you can go home now...(This, the real short version!) Awesome testimony...!!

Or one more, one time I had evil spirits try to scare me but I laughed and took authority of it in Jesus name...It left right away, lol!

Which one you want to hear about?

That was NOTHING compared to what you endured!

I mean about the voices you heard that time, the mimic like ones.

I remember almost falling asleep in my bed for a nap because I had just gotten my oldest down for a nap. I closed my eyes and something like right inside on the bed and said, "Tell (my husband's name here) I said hi!" I opened my eyes, but no one was there. It was like this little fairy-like voice and it had this tiny little giggle afterwards. I was disturbed, but I told my husband and he knew what I was talking about...it was a small type of demon like thing that he's had dealings with before. I never wanna hear from it again...

I remember in that same house, one of my husband's little sisters you could hear in her room talking to someone in some other tongue. It was bizarre. She was asked who she was talking to and she would just say, "A friend." While she was out of her room, we hid a scripture in her bedroom. When she came back to her room, she could be heard flipping things over, moving papers, pushing furniture around, etc. she was trying to find it. I'm sure she was talking to something demonic.

There were all sorts of things wrong with that house or rather the location...it is one of the most haunted areas in the USA and with good reason. It doesn't help that some locals for tourist reasons try to provoke spirits, though. We avoided town when the ghost hunters would come in or when they did ghost tours and would have things written on their hands or with them and were intended to invite or provoke.

The spiritual world is crazy real out there.

All of them please!

This is, in my mind the biggest miracle that God has ever done for me. He sent an Angel to my garage sale and he over paid me to help me.

This is when I was still living in Colorado Springs CO, and I had a 4 BR house for 1000 a month. I've been self employed as a Mechanical Contractor (HVAC) since 1994. Back in the mid 90's I was doing great but the economy has been doing the big slide downhill and I found myself with less and less work, until I was 2 months behind in rent, plus, I had a utility shut off notice for Monday, for 300 dollars. This was Saturday. I had a 1-1/2 car detached garage and so was trying to make extra money by selling off all the household goods that a single man don't really care about having. But when my Wife left after 26 years...she took the gold & cash and god SUV and left. So I built two 4 X 8 tables out of plywood and set up in the garage for a garage sale. I had been doing this for a few weeks and on sunny weekends, I'd throw an ad on Craigslist and sit in the driveway on a couch, to sell the junk off, ya' know? Now you know how garage sales are...they don't pay the rent, lol. But it kept me fed sorta and in cigarettes, lol.

One Saturday I'm out doing the garage sale thing, and my landlord pulls up. He had my walking papers. He said Ed, I like you but I have bills too so I have to get someone in here that can pay consistently. I had been behind before some here and there, but then catch it up when a nice job comes in. I guess 2 grand was his limit. He gave me my 3 day notice and said goodbye and left. I sunk back down into the couch very discouraged. I prayed to the Lord for some help. After praying it was about dusk so I went ahead and closed it up and went back into the house. As soon as I went downstairs to my family room where my computer is and sat down, the phone rang. A man said he seen my ad on CL but could he come by after he got off work in about an hour and a half to look at my garage sale? I of course said yes. And He showed up exactly on time.

We walked out to the garage and I opened it up, and as soon as I stepped inside, He said to me, How much do you need? Now I went (tilt) because that's an odd question, so I ignored it and went into salesman mode and began telling Him about the stuff. I walked to a table, picked something up and talked about it...He didn't even look at it. He said again, how much do you need? (Tilt!). I began talking about other things and didn't answer His question. (What do you say to something like that?!). I was expecting Him to begin looking at my merchandise, but He didn't seem really all that interested. I forget what I picked up but I did and said blah blah blah, and handed it to him for him to check it out, and he took it and gave it a quick sideways glance and set it down and said, how much do you need?

And I still wasn't putting two and two together! So I ignored the question and began talking about other stuff. I handed him a couple different things but he set them back down so fast that I didn't think he was interested in the type of stuff that I had. He said again, how much do you need? (Tilt). I looked at him...and didn't get it! So he says, well how about 1900 for everything on that table over there? ...(Tilt!)

Now that is not how a garage sale goes. They just don't. So I couldn't answer Him. My head was spinning at this point. I looked down at the floor...then He says, well how about 2400 then? (Now I knew This was a joke, and I did want to hear the punch line, so I looked at Him and said, sure, sounds fine.
and the punch line was...he pulled out a stack of 100 dollar bills big enough to choke a horse and counted me out 24 of them! Now I began thinking that maybe He was some kind of dealer, a flea market guy wanting to stock up or something? (I hadn't yet remembered that I had prayed for help!). But He paid me, so I asked if He would like some help loading it up into his pickup. He said, yes thank you. So I got some cardboard boxes and we began boxing stuff up. Then He reaches over and takes something out of the box that I had just put into it, and says, oh you can keep that I wont need it..that too, this too...(Tilt!) He wound up leaving about 25% of the stuff on the table that He had just paid me for! Not just the cheapest junkiest stuff, just random stuff. Some of it nice, my Wife loved to spend money.

I took a real close look at him to see if he was the type with more cash than brains...or what? He was well groomed, fit, well spoken, and drove a nicer pickup truck. Nope, He wasn't that type. My head was spinning. We finished loading up, shook hands, he smiled real big, and then drove off...I closed up the garage and went back into the house and as I was going back down the basement stairs and was feeling the wad of cash in my pocket...I said, Praise the Lord!...and then it hit me...that was an Angel come to answer my prayer!

Then I thought about my bills...2400...2 grand for the back rent...300 for the utilities, and a hundred bucks extra for groceries! Bam! Within 2 hours of praying for help. Then it all made very perfect sense to me. I needed help and prayed, He came, why He kept asking me how much I needed, all of it. There is no other answer to explain what happened. Garage salers do not come talk the price up! They talk it down, right? Right. I sat down and lost it...I cried and thanked the Lord and thanked the Lord and praised Him...!!!

Then I felt stupid for not realizing it was an Angel come to help when He was here! Entertaining Angels unawares...the Grace of the Lord...you have not because ye ask not...I knew all that! Why couldn't I see it when He was there?! I had so many questions I could have asked Him, lol! That was absolutely awesome. Praise the Lord!

you live near me ?

Yes it was! Thanks for sharing.

I have come to the conclusion that I must have been being restrained from being able to realize that he was an Angel while he was there, because they knew I would have prolly started asking a bunch of stupid questions, lol.

But after he left and I had shut up the garage and as I was walking down the basement stairs and put my hand in my pocket and felt that wad of 100's, I said Praise the Lord! ...and it hit me. I had prayed less than 2 hours ago for help and now I had everything I needed for the moment. That's huge to me. The Lord is so good!

My father passed away six years ago at the age of 80. I was with him, at side, in the ICU, when he passed.

Although my father had a DNR on file with the hospital, the ICU doctor nevertheless asked me what my father would want them to do. My father had been in the ICU for a several hours and they thought he had stabilized. Then, he suffered a heart attack. The doctor wanted to know if my father would want them to try and bring him back. My father's health was quite poor and he suffered. Had he been a dog, he would have been mercifully euthanized some time before. Therefore, with the doctor and five nurses looking at me, I smiled and said "My father wants to be with the Lord". None said a word for several moments as they looked at me with compassionate eyes. I've always wondered what they thought.

Anyway, a few nights later I was in a deep sleep. Suddenly, I seemingly felt and heard a sort of a "woosh!" sound and I was suddenly teleported to my parent's dining room table, where my father had spent most of his time. It's like a portal opened and I simply stepped into that room. And there was my father, sitting at his chair as he had done for years with the biggest smile he could possibly have. I said "Dad, you're alive!" I was overjoyed and I went and hugged him and he hugged me back. He told me that he suffered a stroke. And then it all faded away and I returned to my deep sleep.

I am 54 years of age and I have NEVER experienced anything like that! I've had surreal dreams that were very realistic, of course. But that was NO dream! It's as if the Holy Spirit woke me in the middle of my sleep in order to momentarily meet with my Dad. Once my father was finished letting me know that he was alive and well in Heaven, the Holy Spirit let me slip back into sleep.

When I later awoke, I immediately went and told my grieving mother. She was amazed and thrilled!

I have thanked God repeatedly for allowing that amazing experience!

My older brother, Jim, passed away from liver disease in 2016. A few years later, my nephew drove my mother to the military cemetery where he is buried, about 90 minutes from where we live. They visited my brother's grave, as well as my father's grave. Then they returned home.

The next day, my nephew came over to watch a ballgame with me. He told me that he wanted to share something with me. My nephew, who was NOT close to his uncle (my brother). In fact, the two of them didn't like one another for various reasons. As well, my nephew is NOT religious or "spiritual" AT ALL. He says that he believes that we have a creator but, beyond that, he has no firm beliefs. Anyway, he said that he had a dream wherein he was at Lowe's (home improvement store). You see, my brother used to work there. Anyway, my nephew said that, in his dream, he was in an office at Lowe's and the phone rang. He picked it up and said "Hey Jim, I have those security tapes". Then, in his dream, Jim said "I know that you and Mom came to visit me today. I know that you couldn't see me but I could see you. I'm doing much better now". And that was the end of the dream.

My nephew says he hasn't had any dreams like that before or since. I truly believe that my brother was allowed to reach out to let us know that he is alive and doing well.

Jim was a severe alcoholic. So, when Jim said that he was doing "much better", I believe that he was saying that he was either overcoming his Earthly weakness or had overcome it altogether. Jim was a sinner, but he also had a strong faith in Jesus.

Amazing!
