Almost three weeks since the Angiogram the right arm and hand are still painful after use even though I have been careful. :sorry2xTyping is also hard so limiting to what I post for a while. I will check things though and continue to pray in that section and read your posts as usual. :pray I am back in an arm sling again. This is the bad news.. :shrug

The good news is that I did get scheduled starting next week in a cardiac specialty clinic with a team of doctors and others who work together to do TAVR..the new way of heart valve replacement. So some more tests and consultation will be done there before the replacement itself. Likely several more appointments before the hospital stay. Meanwhile, the heart condition and inability of good blood flow to the heart because of the diseased valve..slows down many activities. :thumb

Your prayers for all most appreciated. :prayWhen my arm and hand get better will return to posting again on a regular basis. Meanwhile will mostly just read yours. Thanks so much for your loving support and prayers! You are an awesome band of brothers and sisters in Christ. I can use the other hand to push the 'like' button. :cross :hug

JohnDB is always telling me I should use talk to text from my phone, but I don't.

If your using an Android device, you can use talk to text. I know windows 10 offers the same capability. You might want to find out more!

Hi Sunflower,,,
I'm so sorry to read of your troubles because I've dealt with a small heart problem and I know how scary it could be.
Everything is so much easier these days....I pray you remain calm and as much worry-free as possible.

I do hope you keep us posted, and, needless to say, you'll be in our prayers. May you feel the presence of God during this time.

When I was teaching our faith to kids, I used to explain to the younger ones why Christians are like the sunflower.
The part about it I liked the best was that they turn toward the sun the way we turn toward God.

Blessings!

Thanks for those prayers. Still having pain especially after I drive but then I do have to drive to do errands and appointments, etc. My contribution this week here is mainly in a new thread I just started called "Sharing special moments" in the Christian Talk and Advice forum. It is really "Christian Talk" and I hope some of you will check it out and share. Plus reading and liking your posts helps make my mornings special. Thanks for that too!

Hi wondering, yes, that is why I picked that user name and avatar. Besides I had some really large sunflowers a few years ago which grew very tall and definitely did reach toward the sun. :)

Thanks friends, my hand and arm are much better. Today is my first of several appointments in the new clinic where I will be having tests, etc. to determine how and when the next procedure will be done leading to the actual heart valve replacement. It is a twelve mile drive through some pretty heavy traffic around noon time. I drove very well yesterday so feel up to it. Pray my energy holds out for this next step. Bless all of you for your prayers and kind words. Amen and amen! sunflower <o>

Here are some nice articles to read about the sunflower:

praying for God's healing power for your heart and His wisdom and skill for the team assessing you and replacing your heart valve - Psalms 103:1-5

Wow, looks like a long road ahead with many more tests starting next week. But I am doing much better this week as far as my arm and energy go. I now have been assigned a coordinator, a nurse practitioner , to help guide me though the process which will also include extensive dental work with a dentist to make sure no teeth infections, etc. Good news is that this cardiology doctor says my condition (right now) doesn't warrant rushing into this. So hopefully more strength will be gained. I am to try to be active (not be a couch potato) but to be careful not to do anything too strenuous. It is going to be a balancing act for sure but I do know God is with me and He heals..won't post more until after the next phase. I am still in the process of qualifying.
