When I awake, I am still with you Yehovah

Hello I am a student of Jesus Christ
I was pondering
The Christian conundrum
To love your enemy and at the same time hate them for what is bad
In the imprecatory psalms.
Psalm 139:22
They have become real enemies to me.
and I believe the whole
of the Bible is beneficial to mankind

Hi City of Zion and welcome to CF :wave2

I would suggest you start a new thread in Biblical Growth and Bible study with your question so others can discuss it with you in more in detail as it is a good subject and not everyone comes into the New Member Forum. Looking forward to share with you and God bless.

Psalms 139:17-23 David puts it as a question. Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? Then he ask God to search his heart to know his heart for the Lord and his thoughts about what he asked to make sure there is no wickedness found in him.

It's God that takes vengeance on His enemies as we are to love, do good and bless our enemies as only God knows who are His own, Luke 6:27-36.

Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
