Hi all!:wave
I just thought i'd better introduce myself!
I'm Mark from Sheffield, England and i'm married to Stephanie and we have two daughters aged 24 and 17 and a Grandson aged 4!
For quite a while now i've felt that there is "Something" missing in my life, and i'm sure that it is God that is the missing piece that i need.:confused
I'm very new to Christianity so i'm sure that there are lots of questions i need to ask, so i hope you all don't mind me asking for advice.
Thanks everyone!

Mark

You're very welcome, Mark

By the way, congrats on the 4-year-old grandson! Grandchildren are such wonderful blessings!

Hi Mark and welcome. I'm sure you'll find the answers and advice you're looking for here. I'm only a newbie on CF but everyone seems very friendly and willing to guide each other on our walk. Blessings.

Hi Mark, how are you doing? good to see you here. God bless His Word to you.

Mark it is nice to meet you. I am stationed in Germany right now. You may have to show me arouund your church when my wife and I visit England

PS: MarkG: As someone who says he is new to Christianity, you can find it useful and very important to read the Bible every day prayerfully and become more and more acquainted with the Person and Work of the Lord Jesus.

I started to read the bible yesterday!
Didn't read much because i had to be up early for work but its a start and i intend to read some every day!:yes

Mark.

MarkG: Well, God bless your regular reading! 'He that seeketh, findeth' (Matthew 7.8). 'Seek ye the Lord with all your heart' (Proverbs 3.5). And remember: the Lord Jesus, the only Savior of sinners, is the central, living theme of the Bible and is the living and eternal Word Himself (John 1.14).

One day i might be as knowledgable as you and the other great members of this forum!

MarkG:

Well, it's not a matter of head knowledge; rather, daily, everyone who professes to be washed in the precious blood of the Lamb should seek to 'grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ' (2 Peter 3.18). This faith challenge never ceases.
