Hahaha...did he make a boo-boo while initially coming up with his username? Did wonder about "Stove" tho. :chin
Ha, if you must know...
In 2002 I was spending a lot of time on car forums because I have a 1968 Camaro my dad called a pile of stove bolts. Anyway, not really sure if it was a compliment or insult, but it just kinda stuck!
Some of the car guys are pretty foul and have way too much testosterone so I decided to find a Christian community, and I found this place. And yes, we predate the .com version of this site. Back then, .com was reserved for companies, not forums.

Anyway, my profile says 2004 cause that's when we moved software and everyone got new dates.

That's a cute name your dad gave to your Camaro :biggrin
I'm sure he meant it in an endearing way! Lol.

In Connecticut at a Civic Center!

Wow! That's pretty cool! I mean, both the 86 and seeing U2! I had an 84 that i wish i still had!

Anyway, here's an old photo of my ride. I'm still trying to get her back together. Im close...maybe another month and I'll have her back on the road.

Nice!
They really moved too.
I think I went from Hartsdale (or is it Hartford, CN)...yeah, Hartsdale is in Westchester...uffa, I'm forgetting everything.

Went from Hartford CN to Queens NY in about 1 1/2 hrs.
That thing hugged the ground and zipped you right along.
I don't know if I have any pictures of it,,,but google will...

It looked like this but with a plain top.

I gave it to my son when he turned of age, a few years later.
After a while he insisted on exchanging it for a Ford Mustang.
Uggh. This was much more beautiful and sleek.
I've always missed it.

P.S.
RE U2
I never missed a concert from that time...except one they had in Italy when I had just gotten here because it was general admission.
Long lines. No can do --- I'm not 50 anymore! LOL

Saw the rest in Italy too because they changed to numbered seating.

The Innocence Tour (2015 ?) in Turin was the BEST concert EVER of any band. I can't even explain it.

I think Bono was for the abortion bill in Ireland, so I'm not so happy with their politics anymore (was I ever?),,,but I've always liked their music.

Oops, sorry I missed your reply!
Hey.... Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's an IROC! Not only a beautiful car, but one that can put the hurt on the ponies that try to keep up!

I didn't get to many concerts back in the day and I don't even recall if U2 came to our town. Most of the concerts I went to where hard rock, like Iron Maiden and Ozzy lol! Hey, I did see Loverboy that same year and Rick Springfield!
