There's quite a bit of disagreement about the physical characteristics of Christ's resurrection.

1• Jesus' corpse wasn't restored to life. His body remains deceased, and its remains squirreled away somewhere on Earth in a condition, and a location, known only to God.

2• Christ's corpse underwent metamorphosis while in the tomb; viz: his body was restored to life transformed, a.k.a. glorified.

3• Christ's corpse was restored to life just as his body was when Jesus passed away, viz: no transformation, no glorification.

You need to go back and read Matthew 28:1-10; Luke 24:36-49; and 1 Corinthians 15:1-7 that speaks against everything you have claimed here.

.
everything you have claimed here.

I neglected to list one other popular claim. Some people sincerely believe that Jesus has a spirit body in heaven rather than a physical, human body.

That's a rather curious view seeing as how in the future kingdom, Christ will dine upon ordinary foods and imbibe ordinary beverages. (Matt 26:29 and Luke 22:15-16)

There is a different between a new glorified body and this fleshly body as no one knows what we will look like other than we will be like Christ, 1 John 3:2. We also know that flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God, 1 Corinthians 15:50

Might I suggest when you are quoting what another has said please use the whole sentence as I said: You need to go back and read Matthew 28:1-10; Luke 24:36-49; and 1 Corinthians 15:1-7 that speaks against everything you have claimed here. All you used was.........everything you have claimed. Can you see that those few words makes no sense without the full statement.

1Cor 15:50 is a comparison to the chemistry of Adam's body (1Cor 15:47). His consisted of natural materials commonly found on the table of periodic elements; especially carbon.

But the body that Christ has above isn't made of natural materials. It's constructed of materials heretofore unknown to even the brightest and the best of humanity's scientists.

However, though Christ's body in heaven is constructed of materials heretofore unknown, it is still capable of dining upon ordinary foods and imbibing ordinary beverages. (Matt 26:29 and Luke 22:15-16)

In other words; Christ has a physical human body in heaven. Exactly what it's made of I don't know; but according to the Bible, its materials are far and away superior to the materials used to construct Adam's body.

No one knows exactly what a new glorified body looks like, especially the form in which Jesus is within. We do know that Jesus was resurrected bodily as He appeared to over 500 people plus His disciples. Before He ascended up to the Father He was given a new glorified body as those who stood and watched Him ascend up in the clouds we will see Him descend in that same glorified body.

I sincerely believe that's a realistic scenario.

It seems evident to me that Jesus came back from death with the very same body in which he died. I base my confidence upon John 2:19-22 where Jesus claimed:

"Jesus said to them: Break down this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Therefore the Jews said: This temple was built in forty-six years, and will you raise it up in three days? But he was talking about the temple of his body. When, though, he was raised up from the dead, his disciples called to mind that he used to say this; and they believed the Scripture and the saying that Jesus said."

Had Jesus' crucified dead body not been restored to life as it was, that entire passage would be easily proven false.

Before He ascended up to the Father He was given a new glorified body.

I believe that's also a realistic scenario.

According to 1Cor 15:51-53 and 1Thes 4:13-17, the natural remains of Christ's followers will first be restored to life as they were. Then they'll assemble with those who are still alive, and all together at one time their bodies will be transformed into something very wonderful during a flight up to meet the Lord in the air.

There is really no concrete reason to disbelieve that Christ underwent the very same process, i.e. his crucified remains were first returned to life just as he predicted; and then forty days later, at some point during the flight up to heaven as per Acts 1:9, Jesus' revived mortal body underwent transformation into the immortal superhuman condition in which he exists today.

I can agree with this as there is no question about Jesus being raised from the dead bodily. He showed Himself to over 500 people in a course of forty days to show His disciples that He in three days God would raise Him from the dead.

1 Corinthians 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
