I thought this might be a good new topic since a few of use have been debating it a little.

So I'd like to start with sharing a few scriptures that have helped me to see that 'judgment' to come will not always mean condemnation.

So first of all I'd like to share about the word itself. Strongs #2920 which also means' justice'

1John4:17 By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment ; because as He is, so also are we in this world.

Here we have the righteous Christians speaking about themselves entering the day of judgment without fear.

Matt 12:20 20 "A BATTERED REED HE WILL NOT BREAK OFF, AND A SMOLDERING WICK HE WILL NOT PUT OUT, UNTIL HE LEADS JUSTICE (#2920) TO VICTORY.

Psalm 9:8 NAS
And He will judge the world in righteousness ; He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity.

Psalm 94:15 NAS
For judgment will again be righteous, And all the upright in heart will follow it.

Ecclesiastes 12:14 NAS
For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.

Daniel 7:22 NAS
until the Ancient of Days came and judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the Highest One, and the time arrived when the saints took possession of the kingdom.

What is judgment? We will all come before the throne.

31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;
36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?
38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?
39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’
40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;
43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
44 “Then they also will answer Him,[d] saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’
45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’
46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Everyone will be judged, and some will receive rewards for the good they have done and some will be punished for the wrong they have done.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. 2 Corinthians 5:10 (ESV)

Actually there are two judgements. One being the great white throne judgement of God were names will not be written in the Lambs book of Life and the lake of fire is their final judgement, Rev 20:11-15. The other judgement is the judgement seat of Christ where names are written in the Lambs book of Life where Jesus will judge us as then we will receive His rewards according to what we have done whether it's good or bad.

2Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
This is where we receive the crowns (not literal crowns) of reward that are the crowns of Life, Glory, rejoicing, righteousness, crown incorruptible as per Mat 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
