Restricting is what I meant. Not banning. But if it's at least more difficult to find access to a gun the criminal markets for a gun would suffer based on the lack of planning that usually occures with oppurtinitistic crimes and crimes of passion. At least make it more difficult then being able to buy one at a pawn shop.

As for manufacturing guns, yeah I think if there were restrictions on what types of guns they were allowed to make, as well as how many they were allowed to make that would slow the supply, and make it harder to get a gun for a criminal. At least have zoning laws simular to liquor stores so that if a person wanted a gun it's harder to get to. The suggestions were hopefully to refuse the impact. I don't know if there's anything we can do to make these thing go away. But who knows it might go farther then just reduce.
you are omitting the fact that law abiding gun owners are not shooting up America. And when they bought their gun they had to stand there and watch and listen the gun shop call the state law enforcement and that person was checked in that state for any violations and they also on the same phone call was checked by the FBI for any violations before they could pay for the gun and walk oit with it. thats how i got my 10 guns. they need laws in gun shows to do fbi checks and they need laws to also if any one sells or gives a gun they must return to gun shop and go thru an FBI check. I could even go for a law to require all gun purchases require a gun safe. only other thing I can think of the local police know the bad guys they steel guns and do drugs and the moslems of hate groups those are where the real crack down needs to focus.jmo

Right now there seems to be communities that are more involved with guns and communities that aren't. A community that is involved will have gun sports, hunting, target practice, paintball, and probabley ya few other aspects that comes with the different cultures that like guns. And in each of those there's a healthy respect for the gun by most in the community. Taught how to handle it. Possibly even how to spot if someone is carrying one. The other kind of community isn't that versed in it, nor had the culture to stabilize it.

A community that doesn't have much knowledge of guns, sometimes only gets a gun out of fear of those around them and for their own protection. If they don't know how to use it they might not be able to protect themselves, or when they do accidentally harm a family member they mistook for an intruder (I've heard both types of news stories, and think it would be so easy to correct with some training to handle the gun, or with family members identifying themselves when they use a key to come in.

What I mean is that as of now there are communities that even if they accepted the idea of a need for arming themselves don't have the tools to keep the process safe, and might only harm the outlook for seeking guns by stories of inexperienced people doing badly with their newly owned, or never practiced weapons.
every gun shop I ever been in has some one that will teach how to clean the gun, how to load/unload, how be safe , and how to aim and shoot and how to store. So when that also could be required by law to have a gun class. I have been to some that last 4 hours and I been to some 8 and 18 hour classes so it is avaiable maybe it should be required by law.

Is it possible? Your spiritual biblical views.

Why don't you take a read of this article in The New York Times from 4 December 2015, 'How a Conservative-Led Australia Ended Mass Killings'.

There is a way to fix most of it, but the sinful human heart will constantly challenge it.

A biblical answer is found in Romans 13:1-7 (ESV):
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgement. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, 4 for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing. 7 Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honour to whom honour is owed.

If the USA government had the will like the Australian government has, it could implement anti-gun laws like we have. But the gun lobby will resist like they did in Australia. But we've had no massacres since we implemented these laws.

Nevertheless, ISIL could change that with its suicide bombs.

So when the government, whose cops suggest we can't protect you, then what.shoot interpol said the best way to combat terrorism is gun ownership. Besides your argument negated itself. Bombs are illegal.people still get them and make them

They can only sell to lawful gun owners.a driver can kill you with a car ,so restrictions on how much beer one drinks will reduce drunk driving but how on earth do you a complies that.never mind mass stabbings.I train in knife fighting .it's not illegal to learn that.shoot cops now carry and train on knives as a close quarter back up.banning things will not work.do we ban pressure cookers?cell phones as they are great detonation devices?

We could probably start by not killing off middle east people and disrupting their countries?

We could then take a look a BIG PHARMA's implications in such killings FIRST, rather than using these situations to take guns away from law abiding citizens and purposefully ignoring the role of mind altering drugs.

The overlords are the real killers. Always have been. And, they could care less what we think anyway.

At the heart of the establishment of the death of Jesus Christ (The Cross) was that He might establish peace. Paul says in Ephesians 2:13-18 NKJV, that the purpose of the Cross was the establishment of peace. The purpose of the Cross of the death of Christ was to bring about peace. I need to say this again, the reason Jesus died was so that war could end. Therefore, if there is no peace that either means we do not understand the Cross or are refusing to live under the Cross. For the purpose for Jesus died was to bring about peace.

Biblical peace is resolving conflicts base on the truth so that sin is exposed, addressed, and removed and a right relationship is established. Yes the bible does say Jesus died for the sins of the world. If Jesus died to deal with sin and the net result of Him dealing with sin is peace (according to Ephesians chapter 2), then if I am at war that must means that there is sin that has not yet been addressed. It means that we do not understand or failed to except the death of Christ. To put it another way, the reason we are in conflict either with ourselves, within our family, within our church, spiritual relationships, or in society is that there is a sin or a collection of sins that has not yet been addressed.

Once you leave the Cross to fix the problem...on your best day all you can do is patch it up! You cannot fix it. Because only the Cross deals with sin.

One can pray but Jesus never said that prior to his return the world would have peace.it is always in a state of war.

Okay, I'm miffed, the answer is so simple it's rediculas that people cannot see it. The Japanese did not go straight for the West Coast of the United States for one reason: They believed almost every American owned a gun!

Make Open Carry legal and when idiots get mad they will be scared to death to pull a gun. And if they are in a room of thirty or more people, as soon as the first shot is fired many will draw their piece and by the second or third round the gunfire directed at Stupid will be so intense he will look, much, like Mama's old Colander before he ever hits his knees to the floor.

Didn't th4e DOJ send a bunch of heavy duty weapons to Mexico..? melt down all the guns in the USA and the bad guys will simply find them elsewhere.. maybe even in Mexico
Or as I have seen in the news build them.I have posted the cell phone guns.the cell phone,or pressure cooker, notice those aren't being banned.the left wants to ban those on the terror watch list from buying guns.if they are that much of a threat.why aren't they arrested?

Worldliness = earthly solutions. The scripture says if you are a friend of the world you are a enemy of God's. Worldliness is attitudes and actions that leave God out. Earthly solutions doesn't activate the Cross of Christ to resolve spiritual matters such as the sin of murder. Christ, God calls it sin. Whenever you bring in the flesh (human wisdom, your point of view) you void the Cross of Christ immediately. You have just jumped over to the other kingdom. Lord Jesus can not bless that because that is not His Kingdom. It is imperative that Christians give no place to the Devil by not having anything in common with him in our souls.

It's all about power.
The powerful prey upon the weak.

If you have a gun then one type of predator will avoid you but another one will seek to destroy you.

In America 4.5 out of 10 (at a minimum) have a firearm. (There are some that do but refuse to admit that they have one.)

So about half the citizens are armed.

When chaos comes and our Government has collapsed, are those that are armed going to shoot the innocent?
Probably so.
Friendly fire hurts more of our troops in military actions than the enemy these days.

The choice then becomes do you wish to be a part of the problem or a victim?

Whenever a Christian brings in mans opinion, human wisdom, and the worlds view point they have sinned. This sin is called the lust of the flesh. The flesh is not the physical flesh, but your mindset. This is why it is very important for Christians to renew their minds daily. Christians must pick up their own cross daily and become a living sacrifice by denying their flesh (mindset) daily. This is why denying yourself hurts because you will not allow yourself to say, believe, or agree with mans opinion, human wisdom, and the worlds view point. In other words you only agree, say, and believe what the written word (truth) of God has said. The living word (Lord Jesus Christ) will fill in the blanks. And when the written Word and the living Word connect...oh my, my, my! When a Christian is being led by the flesh they are 100% being deceived by Satan and his forces. The bible says this is witchcraft because the flesh is in rebellion with God. Our kingdom is not of this world. No matter what man says and how things may change, we only say and agree with the word of God.

Beloved, God has called us to go the second mile. The first mile is where everybody is. The second mile is going to require a press, stamina, and what the Lord has said. The first mile is a eye for a eye, tooth for a tooth...the second mile is love your enemies. The first mile - The only way to God is through Jesus Christ (John 14:6)...The second mile...the only way to Jesus Christ is by the Means of the Cross (Luke 14:27). The only way to the Cross is a denial of self (Luke 9:23). Are you in the second mile?

But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:14 NIV

I don't know many soldiers who prey upon others.it's not that high in fratracide.more like mistakes

Is it possible? Your spiritual biblical views.

One way is to quit establishing "gun free zones." Wackos and terrorists see these zones as soft targets where they can murder at will without the possibility of someone shooting back. Columbine, Sandy Hook, the Charleston AME Church, Virginia Tech. and the San Bernadino office were all "gun free zones." Criminals, terrorists, jihadists, and wackos do not respect "gun free zones." They see them as opportunities to rob, rape, and murder unarmed, defenseless men, women and children.

Another way to reduce such incidents is to encourage people to be trained in the use of a weapon, get a permit to carry, and carry one at all times.

Scriptural support? Jesus recommended carrying a weapon.

Luke 22:36 Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. (NKJV)

There is no such thing as a "safe zone". Nobody really lives on Sesame Street or in Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood. We all live in a fallen and too often violent world. Be prepared to defend yourself and your family or be prepared to be a victim.

I can see you know very little about law abiding gun owners. even if to law has collapsed most gun owners would only shoot for defense. the people attacking with guns would be the same ones doing before the law collapsed.

It's all about power.

No it's about being able to defend yourself, your family, and your community from hooligans, thugs, criminals, jihadists, and wackos.

When chaos comes and our Government has collapsed, are those that are armed going to shoot the innocent?
Probably so.

So Christian gun owners, in your opinion, will go out and start shooting innocent people?

The choice then becomes do you wish to be a part of the problem or a victim?

The choice is do you want to be able to defend yourself, family, community, or do you want to be a victim.

We have become a nation of sheep who think that keeping the wolves away only requires putting up a sign that says "NO GUN ZONE." Wolves see these signs and know that they identify clusters of unprotected sheep that they can slaughter at will.

Sheep have a hard time distinguishing between sheep dogs and wolves so they are afraid of both.

But the fact is that sheep dogs will lay down their lives for the sake of the sheep and when wolves attack, the sheep will hope and pray that there is a sheep dog close by to protect them.

Dialing 911 only tells the police where to find the bodies. (When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.)

So here's your choice, John: Be a sheep or be a sheep dog.
