We're at our third store today... Still no toilet paper! This is crazy!

Not many people wearing masks, but I think it's availability. I went to the Dr for a shot, and they are out of masks... Didn't know when they would get them.

Anyway, stores have very few people in them. That's a good thing! I'm glad we waited till after the rush! BTW, no shortage of food, including meat, although they are limiting you to one chicken.
BTW...wear disposable gloves when gassing up your car.

Maybe so,.. but I do believe that the one that Stanley Ipkiss had he tossed it back over the bridge. Of course than some other random dude found it in the sequel and it caused a demonic baby and a demonic dog to go at war with each other like some Tex Avery cartoon. So,.. I guess that anything's possible,.. even a bunch of random cops singing and dancing in the street like it's nobody's business.

Just got an email from a store I go at times and it sounds like reusable bags aren't allowed due to this virus, red tape in the store to keep people 6 feet from each other, no returns/refunds/exchanges at this time to "prevent spread", etc. Are you kidding me? Anyone else come across the dreaded store tape yet?

No...but I wouldn't mind it.
People that thought better of their hoarding of toilet paper aren't being allowed to return it to Sam's, Cosco, or Walmart anymore either.

Part of the new world we live in anymore.

We just have to stumble through for a while...things will get better...eventually.
Maybe by fall. That's the hope at least.

I'm tired of hanging around home. Don't get me wrong...I like my home and my wife. But I want to see my son and friends. Do stuff...get out of the country and visit other countries.

But not for a while yet.
This virus is going to rule for a while yet.

Gas is cheaper again, but now there aren't many places to go vacation.

I have only been out in the car once or twice this week and it looks like a ghost town out there. Restaurants are pick up and delivery only, the mall is closed, movie theaters closed, and big grocery stores are packed...always. Our church has been doing a Facebook livestream. I am glad we have a yard to burn off some energy. I cannot imagine how not awesome this is for apartment dwellers without even a patio/deck.

I am hoping we can at least enjoy a summer...I don't like being cooped up, either.

I'm guessing that it'll all be over by summer, but then again it's only a guess. Btw, Jesus still rules and He is even above this virus. :)

Sat outside on balcony to catch some rays and listen to music.

So my wife sent me to the grocery store last week and I promptly lost her bank card. So just now we came back from curb side pick up from the grocery store so she doesn't have to go inside due to weakened immune system from chemo. This was our first time ever doing curbside. It should go more smoothly next now that we know the process and where to park in designated pick up spots.......no tp.

It sucks. You order and pay online then get about 2/3 of what you ordered cuz they're out of a lot of stuff we wanted.
It didn't used to be that way.
I've done it for months...kinda prefer it for when I'm busy.
Others I know get them delivered to their door. Not quite ready to go that far yet.
But I do like looking at the foods too...as a former chef I still get excited about food to make and when I see great items it gets me to thinking about food and dishes to make.

I can imagine. I have heard places do substitutions, but not sure if they even have that. I know some online places let you pick "no substitutions" or pick a substitute if they don't have what you want. With food allergies and pickiness about ingredients, we didn't want to brave it. I remember my mom getting something substituted with frozen pizzas that she won't eat and it wasn't even a relevant substitution. We prefer to shop in store ourselves. I also wonder, "How do you know they aren't ripping you off or lying to you by saying they were out of the cheaper item and make you pay more for your picked substitute? I don't trust it.
