I can imagine. I have heard places do substitutions, but not sure if they even have that. I know some online places let you pick "no substitutions" or pick a substitute if they don't have what you want. With food allergies and pickiness about ingredients, we didn't want to brave it. I remember my mom getting something substituted with frozen pizzas that she won't eat and it wasn't even a relevant substitution. We prefer to shop in store ourselves. I also wonder, "How do you know they aren't ripping you off or lying to you by saying they were out of the cheaper item and make you pay more for your picked substitute? I don't trust it.
I think Ann chose substitutions but they did show us right there which ones were substituted and whether we would accept that or if we wanted to return those particular items for refund. Also...they gave us a free pack of hamburger buns because we had it on our list but they weren't available at the store until a shipment arrived while we waited so they threw them in no charge. But you're right. We would much rather go inside and choose our own.

My wife needed a desk to work from home on.
I'm all for it too.

So we ordered one online for delivery...they lost it.
Refunded the money.
So we went today and got one.

And if you follow their "easy 2,369 step instructions" the 8,637 bits and parts will "practically assemble themselves" and then you will have a desk...

*Grumble grumble*

Haha, yes! The crazy instructions. I remember my friend's sister wanted a new desk, but not any old desk, oh no. Nothing simple. She wanted a wide desk that had many shelves to put everything on, her parents agreed, but made her assemble it (under dad's supervision, of course) lol. She was about 16 or so at the time. She never wanted a big assembly thing again.

No sleep for you tonight John
Hope you've got plenty of coffee
I once had yo build up a set of drawers. I put the top on and then realised I had attached it to the bottom. It wouldn't come off again. :lol

I have built a drawer to go in the thing once it is built.

Well,
Since the shoe/boot cobbler caught up on his workload because of all the layoffs...
His elves that did his work while he slept also were out if work.
And I seen them wandering about looking for mischief...
So I beguiled them with a batch of cookies and a dram of Gran Marnier.
They got that desk built in two shakes...

No cussing required.
And my wife is happy.

It looks like this:

Now for the first time I got no antiperspirant deodorant because the shop is out and shelf empty , so now I have to rank.

Do i have to rank now because people are finally realising they should look after there personal hygiene so now there is no antiperspirant deodorant in my local store?. Lol.

It might just be a coincidence its looks like the classic TP empty shelf.
