Paul's Gospel centered on faith in the Person of Jesus Christ, Who He is. (Acts 16:30-31) The Gospel of the Kingdom was to Israel alone and centered on repentance toward God because the King was here and ready to establish the Kingdom. (Matt. 10:5)

Repentance and faith in Christ have always been required for salvation and continues to be required today.

This is true for Jews and Gentiles.

From Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called for the elders of the church. And when they had come to him, he said to them: “You know, from the first day that I came to Asia, in what manner I always lived among you, serving the Lord with all humility, with many tears and trials which happened to me by the plotting of the Jews; how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 20:17-21

Once again we see scripture is opposed to your doctrinal mindset.

Is it Paul's gospel, or is it the gospel of Christ Jesus for what He taught who by God's Holy Spirit anointed and sent Paul out to preach the gospel of Christ to the Gentile nations. Man does not have a gospel, but many are taught from the doctrines of man. Big difference.

It is the Gospel given to Paul to preach by Christ. Which is not the same Gospel as the Gospel of the Kingdom. (Gal. 1:11-12)

So? Again just because repentance and faith and salvation are part of the Gospel, doesn't make them the same Gospel. See post #(138).

I have already said the Gospel of the Kingdom has it's origin in the Old Testament. The Gospel of Grace is totally new.

The Gospel of the Kingdom is repent for the Kingdom is at hand.

The Gospel of Grace is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.

Two different Gospels.

There is one Gospel; The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel Paul preached.

The Gospel His Apostles preached.

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14

The same Gospel He preached, and continues to be preached unto the end; The only Gospel.

As I have shown from the scriptures, His Gospel will be preached throughout the earth, through to the end.

Not some “other Gospel”.

The Gospel of Grace is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.

Grace came through Jesus Christ.

For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1:17

Once again the scriptures refute your doctrine.

You keep ignoring scripture and replace them with your own beliefs.

Paul preached The Gospel of repentance, which Jesus sent him to preach.

Words of Christ in red —

But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’ “Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance. Acts 28:16-20

Please read what Paul himself declared —

  • Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.

Paul preached the Gospel of repentance to the Gentiles, Just as Peter did.

Well, you can keep saying there is one gospel but there's not. You present the Gospel of the Kingdom in (Matt. 24) That is not the Gospel of Grace Paul preached. It will be preached again, as I have said, when the Kingdom is getting ready to be set up on earth. (Rev. 11:15)

All gospel messages have to do with God and His relations with man. But they are not all the same message. They are a message for their time. We are told Abraham had the gospel preached to him. (Gal. 3:8) What gospel was that? It wasn't the gospel of the Kingdom or the Gospel of Grace. "And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed."

The Gospel of the Kingdom is just that, the Gospel of the Kingdom. Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Paul's Gospel is 'his' gospel. (Rom. 2:16) "In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel." "Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel." See also (Rom. 16:25)

Paul's gospel contained information that had never been revealed before. (Eph. 3:1-6) "...which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets...." (Rom. 16:25) "Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began"

Yes, Scripture is quite clear here. Seeing the distinctions in the gospels helps to recognize a distinction in the dispensations God has given. A Key, in other words, to help understand the Scriptures. To lump all together as one is just to create confusion.

I have given the words of Jesus Christ Himself that plainly says His Gospel of the Kingdom, will be preached unto the end of time, and you have chosen to ignore Hs words in favor of your own theology.

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14

From the days He walked the earth until He returns at the end of the age; THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM WILL BE PREACHED.

If it does not contain the word “REPENT”, which s the commandment of God to turn to Jesus Christ as Lord and King, it’s not the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

REPENT is the part of the Gospel that must be obeyed, for the justification of faith to occur; the obedience of faith.

But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
Romans 16:26

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38

“Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance. Acts 26:19-20

This is the Gospel of grace. Grace is the Holy Spirit empowering us to confess Jesus as Lord.

Grace is the Holy Spirt by which we are born again.

The way we repent is to confess Jesus Christ as Lord, in which we turn away from Satan as our lord, and are transferred into the kingdom of God and out of the kingdom of darkness.

We are required to obey the Gospel.

in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 1:8

The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The way we obey the Gospel is to repent; turn to God in submission to Jesus Christ as Lord; to follow Him and obey Him as our Lord.

The Gospel of the kingdom is the gospel of Christ found not only in the four Gospels, but throughout the whole Bible in what God gave Christ to teach.

Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

The gospel of the kingdom of God or the kingdom of heaven are used repeatedly in connection with Christ Jesus and His work here on earth. He is not going to give different gospels to different people to preach, but anoints those to preach that He sends out into the world.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

The word gospel means good news and this is what Christ taught that is written in the four gospels. Throughout the NT the word kingdom refers to to the rule of Christ in the hearts of believers for time being as His kingdom is not of this world, but the new world to come.

John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Contrasting law and grace does not define the gospels. Grace came by Christ. So? He also directed people to the law. And, the Sermon on the Mount, (Matt. 5-7) is nothing but law. It is the 'law of the Kingom'. And it is more strict than the Mosaic Law. And that is the Gospel that you keep repeating. The Gospel of the Kingdom.

Throughout Christ's earthly life, He was under law. The Gospels, though in the New Testament, are under the Old Testament economy or Law. Jesus spoke to a people under Law. He was a minister under the Law. (Rom. 15:8) "Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers."

It would be Paul later to whom Christ gave the Gospel of Grace that we preach today. As I showed you in post #(146).

Why did Paul refer to his gospel as his gospel?

Why was Paul's gospel said to have never been known before?

How can then, the gospel messages be the same?

This is my belief, which is based upon the Dispensational view of Scripture.
There lays the problem. You would rather believe something that unaware to you disguises itself as truth, but neglects that of what Christ has already taught for what we read in the gospels which are the doctrines of Christ.

Quantrill what you are being taught through dispensationalist John N. Darby are only his views that were first taught by him in the 1800's. What he taught on Dispensationalism and Futurism does not line up with what Christ has already taught us in the scriptures. This is why you refute what everyone tries to explain to you as you take Darby's word as gospel over the very gospel of Christ that has never changed as His word stands unchangeable.

Here is something for you to think about. Why was dispensationalism or a pretrib rapture never taught before the 1800's? You are being led down a very dangerous path my friend.

Actually dispensationalism does line up with what Christ was teaching.

I don't take Darby's word for it. I take the Scripture's word for it. I appreciate Darby's work. But Darbys work is not why I accept his conclusions.

Revelation from God is progressive. Not only concerning what is Scripture, but the understanding of Scripture. Consider the Reformation. Great understanding given that sparked the Reformation. What about the Trinity? When did that become a doctrine?

Just because the understanding of 'dispensations' in the Scripture were not always taught, or 'the Rapture' was not always taught, means nothing. Revelation is progressive.

Why would you say 'dispensationalism' is a dangerous path?

you just contradicted your self again by saying "It would be Paul later to whom Christ gave the Gospel of Grace that we preach today." now you are saying it was the gospel of Jesus given to Paul to preach. You get more contradicting the further you go and not even realizing it. You just go ahead and believe the views of Darby and his gospel he preaches.

I'm sorry sir, but revelation is the unveiling of God's word taught to us exclusively by the Holy Spirit. Darby went as far as creating his own church and religion with a twisted word of God adding to and taking away from it, even writing his own English Bible. If it's not taught in scripture then I am not stupid enough to be deceived by false teachers that are out there. Been down that path before and won't go there again.

Dispensationalism is taught in Scripture.

Why not answer my questions. When did the Trinity become a doctrine?

And, you hold to 'dispensations' whether you admit it or not. Do you see an Old Testament and a New Testament. Wella! Those are 'dispensations'.

Just wanted you to know we have nothing against how or what you want to believe as you are our brother in Christ, but we also ask that you respect us for what and how we believe as these are discussions and not debates of 'I am right and you are wrong". If someone ask you a question please just answer it instead of having them to go search for what you say you already said. Nobody is going to go back page after page, especially if they have just jumped into the conversation.

Here we are on page 8 repeating ourselves over and over again. Everyone has a point and a view in there opinions, but what it all boils down to is the doctrines of Christ and not what Peter, Paul or any other Apostle taught, but what Christ taught them and sent them out into the world. It's no big deal if we don't always agree as everyone are on different levels of learning as they seek for truth, but truth only comes by the Holy Spirit and not by any man's views or opinions.

1 John 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
1 John 2:25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.
1 John 2:26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
