Oh well. So I figured out that...women did not get that part of Adam which would develop into good driving skills one day!

Twice in two days girls driving almost wrecked into me. I constantly drive. The one time, I have the right of way, I am driving, I glance at a woman waiting to pull into traffic and turn right...we met eyes, she knew I was there. So she waits until I get right in front of her and then she steps on it! I could do nothing except jerk it into the turn lane to try to avoid her. She would have hit me, had I not prayed for protection of my (bosses) truck before going to work that morning. (I think I recounted this for you all in the praise forum already)..

and the next day, on the highway. I'm in the center lane. A lady in a mini van comes by on the left of me in the fast lane. We looked at each other, there was contact! Traffic was kind of light, so what's she do? She get's (barely!) in front of me, and changes lanes right in front of me. Cut me off basically. She was no more than one foot in front of my truck when she did this. I sure am glad I was paying attention!

Those girls do not know how to drive. It was so close two days in a row that it made me wonder if it was some sort of spiritual attack on me, the enemy trying to trash my bosses truck so I lose my job or something?! I don't know. What I do know is that ever since, I am constantly on the lookout for girls...so that I can avoid them Lol!

I think the lesson is this. Next time a gal makes eye contact with you, understand it means you just gave approval for them to do whatever they're thinking! In other words, start creating distance!

I drove 50 minutes to work each way for almost 38 years.
I had lots of near misses over that time. Some very similar to your episodes. More often it was men driving aggressively to get to work on time. I wanted the power to pull them over and ask if they ever considered getting up ten or fifteen minutes earlier and therefore be able to calmly drive like a sane person. It seemed that the morning rush was the worse.
 
I often have the same experience but it is usually guys, not gals. And often it is men who are driving aggressively. However, a few years ago my husband and I were involved in an accident where an agressive woman driver went through a red light and side swiped our car.
I never make eye contact though. Since I am retired and don't work anymore I chose times to shop, etc. when there isn't quite as much traffic. That helps.
 
Here in West Texas we probably have the worst drivers in the nation, at least according to the number of accidents we have year over year. Of course it doesn't help that we are going through another oil boom out here so there are scores of people moving into the area causing traffic snarls the longtime residents are not really used to. Having lived in Southern California I am kind of used to it and know how to avoid problems, but we certainly have our fair share of accidents.

I WILL VERIFY!!!! worse drivers ever in TX with NY neck and neck!
 
As far as women drivers go.... I am a pro driver Class A... I avoid all sex genders on four wheels. 90 % are on cell phones on facebook, phone calls doing 10 mph under speed limit, or doing make up or... Late in years and can't stay in their lane due to eye sight. I had one accident turning right in a big truck and needed both lanes to swing it wide. Of course a lady driver tried to go around me into on coming traffic and didnt make it. She could have died. But praise God she got sited after court and no one was hurt. Stay alert and if you drive a company truck.... they see a paycheck if you hit them.
 
Walmart parking lots are the worse for women drivers (I am the exception keeping twenty eyes out for them) as I have had so many close calls with them driving through the parking lot like it's NASCAR Daytona 500 not caring who they bump draft to get their spot. :nonono
 
All I can say are drivers (men &women) are distracted. You tube, face book, texts, etc seem to be more important than staying alive! I don’t even think it’s make up or eating any more, it’s the demon in the hand that distracts the masses! Just sayin.
