Alright, I wasn't going to post this thread until Saint Patrick's Day was over, but,.. I figured that there was no harm of doing it now since there doesn't seem to be as much activity as there was in my Luck of The Irish party thread last year. :neutral So anyways, Easter is coming up but before that comes April first,.. AKA April Fools Day. The only day of the year when I can get away with being a pain in the neck. :lol (Not that I don't try that the other three hundred and sixty-four days though. :wink)

So, I was just wondering if you guys thought of any fun and cool pranks that I can play on my mother this year? I surely can't be the only prankster out there, in fact,.. I know I'm not because I got a lot of responses on this topic last year. :biggrin So the more ideas I get the better, and go ahead and shoot me some of the ones you've got! :biggrin2

It's allways April fool's. I love every now and then pulling my fishing buddies line when he's not looking and seeing him turn quickly and his reaction think he's got a strike and a big fish on when i just wanted a laugh. Lol. Fool.

Lol! That's a good one, but sadly right now I don't have a fishing license so I couldn't do that myself.

St Patrick’s day isn’t widely celebrated in the UK; it appears the US are more supportive of this.

Easter is an important religious event, however it is also an excuse to consume a lot of chocolate!

I always forget to play April Fools pranks on people; to be honest, I’m not very good at them.

I have a saying that goes chocolate is sweet but salvation is sweeter. :cross

I don't need an excuse, lol.
I love my chocolate!
Just made a chocolate cake...

I remember one year...
A pipe had burst and water had flooded our carpeted basement. The insurance company had paid off and we were going to get the whole basement recarpeted...it was going to cost a bit extra than what the insurance company was going to provide but all was eventually ok. We got the last bits done in September. (Lived in Idaho at the time and winter lasts a long time up in the Rocky Mountains....Cascade and Sawtooths are notorious for late spring snowstorms. You don't really plan on Easter egg hunts because your eggs could all be frozen before you find them...and covered in 6" of snow.

Soooo

One fine April first right after the carpet had been replaced....
We had been playing upstairs and outside most of the day...
We came in and headed downstairs when the inspiration hit.

I hollered, "Oh No!!!! Mom! It looks like the basement is flooded again. "

She came down those stairs like they were a greased slide cussing the whole time enough to peel the paint right off the walls.

When she got there we all had big grins and said "April Fools".

And then she got mad at us all for pranking her so bad. But she got got...

Hey John, I figured that you would respond to this thread LOL! I don't think that I could use that one, but it was still a very funny story though. :lol

Good one!
Just don't do it to a real old person, could give them a heart attack.

Hey guys check this out! Maybe I should get a microphone and do this. XDD!! This might be annoying, but it's also annoyingly hilarious to me! :hysterical

Yeah, I could never do that. I had my brother chasing me through the house with a fish, when I was bothered by them, and I just couldn't do anything to retaliate.

The first half made me really laugh because it was so unbelievable. Then it got on my nerves. I would have walked out of that room :lol

I know right? It was funny, but also annoying for people trying to study. I still would have been giggling nonstop like those two girls were. XD!
